Milford Center - The Invading Mechanicsburg Indians came out on fire and throttled the slate ranked but slow starting Lady Panthers before a overflow audience in the Fairbanks gym. The win moves Mechanicsburg to the lead in the OHC North at 12-1 (15-3 overall) and drops Fairbanks to second at 12- 2 (17-3 overall}. The Indians playing take away defense and good shooting scored early and often as the Panthers came out tight missing several shots around the basket. .'Burg jumped out to a 17-4 lead at the end of one and were in control 45-21 after three periods. A last ditch rally by the Panthers got them within 11 with about five minutes left but the Indians were able to weather the storm and finished the Panthers off with Addie DeLong doing the bulk of the late scoring. DeLong 30 and Olivia Skillings 18 led the Indians and Reece Poling led the Panthers with 11. Fairbanks won the JV game in OT.
