Rocky River has played Bay (T), Watterson (W), Chagrin (W), and Avon (W)

Division 1
Cincinnati Seton (13-6-1) vs Springboro (19-1-1)

Seton only because they have a lot of D1 commits (I'm a slow learner)

Walsh Jesuit (20-0) vs Perrysburg (15-4-1)

Walsh because they already beat Perrysburg and also have a "roster full of D1 commits." Did I get that right? 😉

Division 2
Avon (13-4-3) vs Bishop Watterson (17-2)

Watterson

North Royalton (12-5-4) vs Loveland (13-4-3)

Loveland because they just work really hard.

Rocky River (21-0-1) vs Bay (20-0-2)

Rocky River

Medina Highland (20-1-1) vs Vandalia Butler (17-5)

Highland

Division 4
Chagrin Falls (13-5-4) vs Ottawa-Glandorf (19-2)
Ottawa Glandorf

Cincinnati Summit Country Day (20-1-1) vs Worthington Christian (17-4-2)

Summit because I think some said they have lots of D1 recruits.

Division 5
Columbus Grove (19-1-2) vs Chippewa (20-1)

Chippewa because they have a HOF coach

Cincinnati Madeira (18-1-2) vs Minford (18-2)

Madeira based on SOS

Just wondering how is Wright State a fair neutral site to Division 3 semi - Medina Highland (20-1-1) vs Vandalia Butler (17-5)

Agreed, also Boro is Playing Seton at Xenia which isn’t a neutral site either as it is northeast of Springboro where Seton is in Nati. I went to go for a run at Xenia Doug Adam’s stadium field where game is being played and it was all locked down as it is under construction for upgrades. State Semi game shouldn’t be held at a construction zone…..

Hey OHSAA, so kind of you to start this game at 6PM! The ONLY semi to start then. Somebody should make you people walk back from Wright State to Columbus. Every one else does your job for you - maybe you should contract neutral site selections too. You are all just so worthless.

It's because Medina has a ridiculously long drive home.

And if OG volleyball wins on Thursday they will be playing for a state title Friday at 1 at Wright State lol.

Girls VB 1pm at Wright St
Girls Soccer 4pm at Crew
Football 7pm at Shelby.

Moving football til 8 would help. Maybe move soccer til Saturday? OG brings huge crowds....hopefully the OH$AA takes that into consideration.

Yes, We know how much the OHSAA loves $. OG puts butts in the seats, that's a given. I don't run the show, but if I did. I would
move things around to make sure OG fans support their teams 100%. It would be a win-win for the OHSAA.

It’s not easy to find host schools. Most don’t want to do it because they don’t make much money. The schools only profit comes from concessions and parking. That’s not any windfall. That’s why not many schools want to host. Also this time of year many have trouble getting volunteers after fb and soccer are over people want a break before jumping into basketball. Some schools that might do it can’t because they don’t have en seats, parking or a rug those are all mandated minimum. So coming up with a host site isn’t always that easy.
