Thoughts?

Jackson is always the favorite

Hoover returns a lot..

Lake?

Green?

Glenoak?

Perry?

McKinley?

Perry is going to be an interesting team with 2 pitchers who realistically are sitting about 90 in kintz and breit. Hitting could look pretty good with Geckler, Breit, Kintz, and Jacobson. They look like a darkhorse team this year and may be able to surprise some people. The ceiling is high and the floor is low.

Well Perry loses to to Mckinley 5-6 and 14-6

Don't know how strong Perry's pitching staff actually is; however, for McKinley to put up 20 runs in the Bulldogs' two game sweep of Perry, says something of McK's "fire power." We'll learn more as the season progresses.

Green got a nice win yesterday vs McKinley 10-0. Jacob Harrelson threw a no hitter for the Summit County Bulldogs against an opponent that put up a ton of runs in its two victories last week over Perry. Green is now 1-2 in the league, but both losses are to Jackson, who beats everybody. Perhaps the Bulldogs are going to be better than expected this Spring.

I believe this is right, after three out of seven weeks of league play are complete.

Jackson (swept Green, swept Perry, split with GlenOak)
Hoover (swept GlenOak, split with Lake, swept McKinley)
Lake (bye week, split with Hoover, swept Perry)
McKinley (swept Perry, split with Green, swept by Hoover)
GlenOak (swept by Hoover, bye week split with Jackson)
Green (swept by Jackson, split with McKinley, bye week)
Perry (swept by McKinley, swept by Jackson, swept by Lake)

This upcoming week is rivalry week (Jackson-Hoover, Lake-Green, Perry-GlenOak, McKinley-Massillon). The Jackson-Hoover series likely determines the league title.

Overall records
Jackson 9-2
Hoover 7-4
Lake 5-2
McKinley 8-4
GlenOak 8-3
Green 4-5
Perry 1-10

Green swept Lake this week, 3-1 on Tuesday and then 8-7 yesterday, to even their league record to 3-3. The Bulldogs have now won four straight to climb above .500 for the first time since March.

A winning record in league games is a very real possibility that I don't think anyone expected before the season. Even better, the Bulldogs have put together some impressive run totals so far after several years of weak offense.
