They sold over 2.2 million copies last year. At $70 a pop that’s $154,000,000. Pretty sure they can spare $1500 a playerNot sure how this game would even turn a profit if they have to write a check to every kid in the game.
Yes but college football games historically sell more than 3 times as many copies as college basketball games. But there’s also a lot less D1 basketball players than football players, so it would probably even out now that I think about it.They sold over 2.2 million copies last year. CFB25 is the only reason I got my PS5 out of the box after nearly a year and a half of owning one. Just wasn’t any PS5 exclusives that weren’t also on PS4 that I felt were worth buying. It wasn’t great, but still better than no college football at all. I’m hoping they make recruiting in dynasty mode better in the new one. They brought back playing as a high school player in road to glory, so I may be tempted to buy this years addition.EA College football is pretty mediocre as expected and this game will get even fewer resources. I wish someone would actually care about making good games instead of running a proxy for continuous online transactions.
