I would expect a good game out of these two teams. Versailles should be considered the favorite because of strength of schedule. Versailles may be a little more athletic but Grove knows how to play ball and will be well prepared. Take the Tigers by 2 touches or Bulldogs by a single score. Hopefully both teams stay healthy and enjoy the experience. Let it all on the feild.
 
Like I have been saying during the playoffs the mental aspect of the game is so very important -that is why Grove beat Bluffton like they did. Now no doubt Versailles will be nearly everyone’s pick in this matchup but don’t count out the Dawgs just yet. They will be prepared both physically and mentally They are not newcomers to this . I hope everyone plays injury free and best of luck to both teams. Give your best effort
 
Grove is a better team this year than the team that played Marion last year. This is going to be a very good game IMO. Both teams are pretty similar athletically and both have played very good schedules to prepare them for this.
 
I predict a physical game. Hopefully both teams are as close to full strength as possible. I know Versailles is dealing with some injuries, and i assume Grove is as well. It's week 15 for high school boys, so everyone is banged up. Looking forward to a great game. I hope my Tigers can squeak out a win. Tigers 4-3. Walk off safety.

Losing by a safety sucks. Grove lost 2-0 to Delphos Jefferson once.
 
Columbus Grove should be a good match physically for Versailles. I think we'll see a competitive game. I do expect Versailles to ultimately take control, and win this game by 14-21. I'll go with:

Versailles 28
Columbus Grove 14
 
I would be surprised if Versailles gives up 21 points. Both teams limit possessions. Probably looking at a game like Bluffton and Columbus Grove played last week. 17-10, 14-10, 14-7.

Pandora, PH, Liberty Benton, Crestview, Lakota, Black River. I wouldn’t really consider Versailles a “passing team” anyway - they seem pretty balanced on offense
 
Versailles will want to run the ball, but has some talented receivers and Qb with a strong arm that has potential move ball if the running game is stopped. During the PH game, Columbus Grove gave up several big passing plays and I was interested if many other teams were able to do the same?

CG is stout with run defense. Linebackers are run aggressive sometimes opening the middle with play action as seen in the PH game. Tigers may want to throw from tight formations.
