Do You Bowl?

I bowled in a Winter league a couple of seasons - if that's what you call it - but, have only bowled once since then. Are you a kegler?

My first experience in a bowling alley was watching my dad and uncle roll one in Akron.

On the screen(s) was the 1966 basketball playoff game between Dayton Chaminade and Toledo Libby.

Libby owned the first half, but Chaminade owned the second to the tune of a 55-52 victory.

Oh, and I believe my uncle topped dad - though I won't bring that up with him.

Thavoice annual bowling spectacular and lost both games to the niece...each by one pin.

It takes tremendous skill to lose by a single pin.

Not bowling but my men's softball team from back in the day, which was comprised of ex-college baseball and football players, came across this Amish team in a tournament. We laughed at first, they laughed last.

Stopped to take a break during a bike ride in Amish County years ago at a trailhead next to a school. Some Amish kids were playing softball. The infielders could really pick it!
