Some of the calls and decisions the coaches made were dictated by the wind. Some of the throws were just held up in the wind which were easy throws for them most of the year. Both offenses and special teams were very limited with the high wind yesterday. The stadium was a wind tunnel. Very intense, physical game. With the weather conditions making the offenses more 1 dimensional, it allowed both defenses to just tee off and make bone jarring hits. If these teams would play 10 times, neither teams make it past the 4th game as there would be no one left healthy

There certainly appeared to be some really hard hitting.

I wonder what the officials on the field in this game would say about the ferocity of the hitting. Would they reply that it was one of the hardest hitting games they've ever seen?

I wouldn't be surprised if that were the case - and that'd be kind of cool.
