Perkins played the 6th hardest schedule in D4(putting up historic stats), beat one Mr.Football finalist and then turned around and beat the 2 time defending champs. You really honestly think they will be surprised by anything on the field??
This years version of Glenville is not the 2 teams that won prior championships. Obviously they are a very good team but you guys are acting like your world beaters. You guys lost to Edison, who got whipped in the first round by Buckeye who has a poor history in the playoffs. So, what's that mean? Absolutely nothing. Go ahead and keep talking!

Edison lost in the regional finals to Liberty Center. Didn’t lose to buckeye

So me saying they won’t be surprised is acting like world beaters? I think it’s pretty objective. There’s plenty of YouTube videos of both teams.

Have you even watched Perkins or you just look at box scores?

If Steubenville was just barely over for D4 it would be them instead of Indian Valley. Hope Indian Valley makes the most of this opportunity.

Someone could start a thread comparing surgical options for spinal stenosis and eventually others would make it about Steubenville or Massillon. :stirthepot:
Massillon won 1 championship...shouldn't be in the same sentence as steubenville..lol

I'm not a fan of either team. However, being from Tuscarawas County I will be rooting for Indian Valley. You guys from Perkins running your traps so much about IV's schedule is funny. Everyone knows you can't look at schedules and even if they played some of the same teams you can't look at scores. It's always about matchups on the field. But keep running your traps! I guarantee you have not seen any running game this season like the IV running game in particular Kinsey. Don't be shocked when you look at the final score and you see yourselves on the short end of the

Can promise you Taft had more speed than Perkins will
😂😂😂

Go turn on the film of Glenville this year. Then make a comment.

The only way Indian Valley wins this game in my opinion is by trying to run the ball and chewing clock, basically what Edison did. They have to be great on third and fourth down and have very few mistakes. Keep the ball out of Perkins hand because I don't think IV will be able to slow down Perkins much at all.

They beat a good Taft team, Kirtland never plays a tough schedule (yeah, they play Perry) yet they do fine in the playoffs. Perkins was just fortunate Liberty Center was D5 considering what LC did to Edison and Napolean.
Like I said, transitive logic doesn’t work. Perkins isn’t “fortunate” about anything pertaining to LC. LC is no Glenville either, who beat St. Ed’s.

Lol. This is more likely a Perkins running clock win than an IV win at all.

Hang on guys breaking report coming from the OHSAA...Perkins has won the state championship based off of schedule comparisons and internet posters claiming it will be a running clock for Perkins. The game will not be played there will only be a replay of the Perkins vs Edison game shown on the big screen so that you all realize that transitive properties don't work.

IV will now get the 6th best team award because clearly Region 13 and 14 were the best regions in the state and IV would have only won a couple games against them.

The funniest thing is all of the Perkins posters were ticked last year because everyone said they didn't stand a chance against Glenville. The only logical thing is to come back the following year and act like the posters they despised just a short year ago.

Y’all been watching way too much undersized Amish football down there in Tuscyville lol
Tuscarawas County is anywhere from a 1 hour drive to a 1 hr 40 minute drive for me, depending on which game I’m going to. I like the football up there and prefer it over football in my own backyard. Actually, I travel to many areas of the state to catch HS games and T County is one of my favorite. This Indian Valley team was a treat to watch this year. I don’t buy they wouldn’t have competed in R13 and R14. I guess we’ll see on Saturday.

Even as some one from the Perkins area I will admit it’s getting a little insufferable too me as well. It’s not like IV is a bad team. They’ve beat every team put in front of them and I’m sure they will have that same mentality regardless of what is said on here…
Agreed Coach

Yikes…. Perkins people be cray-cray to an extent.

As an Alumni, the kids aren’t worried about anything we seem to bicker about. I would venture to say IV isn’t either. The kids don’t choose their schedule, or their playoff opponents. It’s all about who you’re suiting up against next and handling business.

I would point out regardless of schedule IV’s RB is good, very good in my opinion. Perkins has a great defense, no question, but boy they better come to play, because that RB is.

I agree there that's why it is important for Indian Valley to make the most of this opportunity and next year. Steubenville has a real chance of going back to D4.
No they don’t. Big Red Jr high classes are larger and the team will staying D3 for years to come

They have run the ball on their previous 15 opponents. This is by far their toughest test yet, but I will never doubt this team’s ability to run the football. Kinsey has been the toughest player on the field every week and I don’t see that changing on Saturday.
tough. but maybe that oline is tougher. not enough credit.anyone that runs the ball for them gets good yardage.18 , 25 , 8 ,22. they all run well.behind that line.

Games are played on the field, not internet chat rooms. I have seen IV play this year and they are an absolute handful. I have not seen Perkins play, but like IV, they are playing for a state championship. I hope both teams play their best and leave it on the field. In fairness, being an IV alum, I am absolutely wanting IV to win it all!
