Deportations

I know a few and it's the source of serious issues in the family. And are you seriously suggesting that there are not a lot of able bodied adults sitting around the house all day drinking beers, hitting the bong and playing video games?
Are you seriously suggesting that millions of families across the country could afford and have been letting their grown kids do nothing and that is going to be enough to replace immigrant workers? And now at the age of 30 they are going to go farm? Theese beer drinking bong smoking gamers as you desrcibed them are going to be more productive than the immigrant workers???? Like I said earlier let just be happy Trump not this delusional lol.

Yes I am.

Are you seriously suggesting we continue to let people sneak into the country to do the jobs Americans won't do?

What, there aren't enough Americans willing to form criminal gangs?

The New York Times has finally acknowledged that President Donald J. Trump was right about the illegal immigrant Venezuelan gangs that have plagued residents in Aurora, Colorado. In a sprawling exposé, author and journalist Ted Conover details a violent series of incidents perpetrated by illegal immigrants believed to be members of the Venezuelan gang, Tren de Aragua, that became a core focus of President Trump’s 2024 presidential campaign.

I didn't suggest that whatsoever but me and Trump definitely both belive the ones who are here and have been working on farms are critical to the industry.

I see you didn't answer the part about the beer drinking, bong smoking gamers being more efficient though because we both know the answer to that lol

Agriculture is a special case and will require a modified approach. But the idea that Americans can't provide 90+% of the farm workforce is wrong IMO. A system of temporary work permits for Mexican/Central American workers primarily in the Southwest would seem to be a smart move to me.

In 5 or fewer years ALL foreign farm workers should be legal and here on temporary work permits. Why do you oppose this?

As for the louts living in their parents basement I would suggest the equivalent of throwing their lazy butts into the pool to teach them to swim. A little sink or swim mentality would go a long way towards converting these people into contributing members of the workforce.

But I get what you support: continued use of illegal slave labor on our farms and providing public assistance to able bodied adults so they can opt out of working for a living.

McCain and Bush were creatures of the GOP establishment. You know those who love to wax eloquent about their hollowed principals while slavishly serving the interests of their globalist, uni-party masters.

McCain's penultimate role was to be the sacrificial lamb on the alter of America electing its first Black POTUS.
McCain's fate as POTUS loser was sealed when he allowed himself to be talked into Sarah Palin as VP, as far as Independents like me went. No way.

In what economy were these parents able to afford letting their grown children do nothing? In the millions? Surely not the one yall just bitched about the past 4 years. You don't know what I support seeing as all I did was point out what TRUMP said and agreed with him. Also seeing as I clearly don't even believe these able bodied gamers exist in droves. Lastly he was in IOWA saying that maybe you should re-calculate that 90%

The sad thing was that Palin did bring energy to McCain's campaign which was sorely lacking. But she polarized to many people. The truth is though that the GOP picked a particularly bad candidate in McCain to take Obama on. It was almost as if they didn't want to defeat the first Black candidate for POTUS. And they did it again 4 years later with Romney.

She was a complete moron.

"Energy". Please. It was a horrible choice. Her first acts as Alaska Gov. had been a personal political revenge tour. She was an ignoramus parroting platitudes. Utterly unfit to back an old man POTUS.

Maybe primarily to southern California. but migrant labor has been legally working in Ohio for many decades. Maybe the system needs to be streamlined and improved but separating the legal migrant labor wheat from the illegal immigrant chaff has got to be a headache.,

The spoiling of America's children in earnest began about 50 years ago. But it's been in the 21st century that the final result of this process where lazy young adults ill equipped to deal with adulthood lived in their parents "basements" became a thing.

Are you really unaware of this phenomena?

As an aside I have a nephew who is doing it the right way - a real old school approach. College wasn't for him and he dropped out after his first year. He then went into the trades learning as he built his skill base. From 19 - 30 he went from gopher to demolition/clean up to basic carpentry to master carpenter/installer. Now, in his early 30's runs a crew formed an LLC and just bought his first house. Doing nothing after dropping out of college was never an option for him.

In the 1970's I worked from age 12 - 18 on a neighbors large farm. The dad and his two 20 something sons ran the place with their mom handling the bookkeeping. It was a 1,000 acre cabbage & fruit farm. ALL of their workers were local Jr High/HS kids and American migrant workers from Alabama and Georgia.

Even in HS I could see that this worked well for all involved. We kids got spending money and we were able to contribute to household costs. I and a lot of the other kids working on the farm played football or other sports to. The migrants coming up from the south worked real hard from April to November but basically took December - March off going back south and living in houses that they owned.

And being in NY State NONE of us worked under the table. We were all on the books.

So it would be possible to design a program where foreign farm workers on temporary work permits came in on a seasonal basis. I agree that most would work in Southern California but Arizona and Texas would take there fair share. As to other parts of the country the details would have to be worked out but it seems like a very doable thing.

Agriculture is a special case? LOL. You wanna give every illegal who works on a farm amnesty? What about hotels because that is coming too?

If Biden suggested this you would be having a conniption. You dont have a shred of intellectual integrity.

Regan was also very clear that they had to come here LEGALLY. Trump has expressed similar sentiments with his great big beautiful door analogy.

So either you and Sabato are grossly ignorant of what Regan actually meant or you both are lying by omission.
LOL

Where did I say amnesty?

12-year-olds today expect to spend their summers at out-of-state hotels playing sports.

Parents believe they have to do this for the "exposure."
