Trimble it is. Getting my Tomcat gear as we speak. Trimble football on the front, Lucas sucks on the back. 3-0 on each sleeve. Suck it @dnis30

Fun fact: back in 2018, I think it was, when Trimble made their run to the state title game most of the Tomcat supporters on here didn't like me very much. I can't imagine why; Im pretty lovable. Anyway, that's all water under the bridge now. Go Cats!

2-0, sir.

2017: Trimble 20, Lucas 19 (Ugh.)
2018: Trimble 21, Lucas 14 (Spit punted late from their side of the field & they drove & scored with under 30 seconds left  )

Jr high team ran all over the Redskins in 2018, 47-21.
I need a Trimble v Lucas III. I need it like water.

Not Lucas.
Lucas has 5 very tough games and 5 not very tough games. If we can sneak out a win from the very tough games,
I think we could challenge for top 5. This group was very good in JH. I believe they went undefeated. Time will tell.
They are still somewhat young.

Who else could challenge for top 10 in R27?… FC?
I do not see them challenging for top 10 R27 this coming year, but in the best of circumstances they reasonably could in 2026 (provided there aren’t any significant changes to the regional makeup.)

Right now, this program needs to truly get behind LT and back on the “run the damn ball” train. The way things used to be, and ought to be. There’s a night-and-day difference between the first 28 games following 2021 (5-23, average margin of -21… the margin is way worse if you subtract the four wins against TCC x2/MPx2) and weeks 9-11 of last year.

Those final three weeks featured…
  • beating a more talented, bigger and deeper Berne… to the tune of FC’s turnover margin (+7) being higher than Berne points scored (I’m not counting that beauty points touchdown at the end),
  • depth losing out against GCC in which GCC got the go-ahead under a minute to go
  • overcoming two bad opening drives both ways to claw back in vs Trimble
My big concern for them? If indeed there’s a sentiment lingering down there that FC has an abundance of talented athletes. That thinking isn’t rooted in reality. 4 has graduated — he is 1/1. Their best returning players and best talent IMO don’t transfer well to outside-the-hashes or route running, instead they’re great as ballcarriers/wings or defense-only. Bluntly they don’t have anyone close to 4’s ability outside.

Getting back to the roots and type of football that provides the best opportunity to be competitive (and win) is key. 2022-23 were laden with runaway train type games where the dam kept breaking after the first turnover, week-in and week-out. Going back to that offense (for whatever reason) is just going to be “same stuff, different season.”

But, hey, maybe I’m wrong in thinking there’s an appreciable difference between having the running clock be imminent after the 8:00 mark of the second quarter versus playing deep into the fourth with an opportunity to win.

Miller. CV loses a TON. 12 seniors off a roster of 25 from last year.

It all depends how Miller can build on it.

Fisher should be back in the playoffs again as a lower seed.
Miller should be decent, they lost 9 srs, have to replace 3 lineman and their QB on offense. On D- 3 lineman, a mlb and FS. They will have 6 srs and should be another solid group for them. They will rely on their RB Zander Bice to carry the load. No surprise, they are going to line up and run the same 4 plays. :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

You're not wrong, sir.

Saw where Dimitri Vassilaros is in hot water for posting women’s assess on WBGI/Big Willie’s Facebook page @carnholio @OHfootball3
My buddy messaged me this morning about that. Without even looking into it, I figured it must be a slow news week in the Ohio Valley if he’s spending the entire show talking about himself.

Dimitri has the unique ability to spend two hours explaining something that could have been explained in 5 minutes. He has a gift for dragging topics out. The equivalent of spending all off season talking about, analyzing, dissecting, hypothesizing about region 27 when we know the state championship team is in region 28 and everyone is playing for 2nd place.(kidding) but not really

Indeed.

But, unlike Dimitri...

His Serena Heckathorn is gold commercials are charming lol. The only thing he was / is good for was publicly rallying against St. Clairsville's $100 million dollar school levy a few years back.
