D7 R25 2024

A lot of schools are dragging this process out for some reason. I can't quite figure out why you have a 2 week opening for applications and then over a month before interviews in some cases.

I was told that is the period where the admin evaluates the applicant pool & then reach out to who they really want to get them to apply.

Minster will be damn good. Heavy D7 favorites in my opinion. I really hope Marion Local and Kirtland are in D6 again. They have this 2-2 tie that needs broken.
With numbers from state only way ML goes back to 6 is if there CB number is over 10 more like 15. Versailles prob up to 5 and Coldwater down to 6. That’s how I read it. Kirtland will stay in 6.

Just enrollment numbers here.
2024
Coldwater 145
Kirtland 139 (CB will be 2 again) so 141
ML 109
Versailles 172

2023 divisions had this gap
DV was 204-158
D6 157-115
D7 114-31

Coldwater 172 with a CB 1
Kirtland 139 with a CB 2
Versailles 143 with a CB 2
ML 109 with a CB 1

So how many divisions will there be in basketball?

Top 64 = D1
Next 64 = D2
Divide out the remaining teams in how many divisions?

Will be very interesting how they handle all of this. I was hoping they would at least expand to 4 divisions in track but they said in the release there has to be 700+ teams for 4 divisions and there are 682 teams. Have to have 9 athletes to qualify as a team. Same in wrestling. Not saying either needs 7 but 4 makes the most sense to me.
