West Branch and Perry played Glenville extremely tough and Perkins won a nail biter. All 4 teams seem to be on a similar playing field. Lake Catholic maybe a notch below based on the results.

There was a lot of mud thrown by both sides heading in to this game, glad to see it lived up to the hype and the big story is play on the field.

Hats off to Glenville, that’s one hell of a team to say the least.
Perkins defense was the shining star tonight, and to think they could out do Glenville on defense, after what we have seen from them.

how has this, umm, "not aged wel?" If I'd a been predicting the Ville to win 41-6, now thats a "not aged well" post. Matter a fact, I never even cited Glenville, simply stated I thought Perry was better than Perkins (even stated it would be a good game!). Perry went 2 OT's w/ Glenville in a game many felt they shoulda won, Perkins wins by two. A hair splits the two teams. I'd still atke Perry if I had to drop a 20 down on the bar in a bet, yet it simply remains my opinion, as I stated clearly. Nothing "not aging well" about my take at all.

This was the D4 title game. I expect Perkins to romp next week. Region 13 rules OHSAA?

So on another note - Glenville couldn’t handle the 1:15 drive and had to stop, at all places, Bellevue for a walk thru and pregame meal?? And Bellevue doing that to one of their most storied athletes and HOF alumni? Wow. That’s low

West Branch, Perry, and Perkins were tired of it too. They just bowed up and played the Tarblooders tough. The assignments are the assignments, just had to line up and beat them if you have aspirations of winning a D4 title. Indian Valley is a great team, should be an awesome final in prime time next Saturday!

I’m talking the comparison you gave. It is what it is. Honestly we have seen 2 teams take them to the wire and a third beat them, they aren’t untouchable. If talking about it helps, go for it, but it’s overkill by now.
