Both are lockdowns in the connotative sense. Locking down an area so people can’t either get in or out are both lockdowns. School doors locked during both an active shooter situation and COVID are both lockdowns, regardless of the threat.

By the way, I never cheered the 'stay-at-home' orders mandated by our 'Pub Governor. But our family was privileged enough to have the resources available to ensure our children got what they needed during school closures. Others were clearly not as privileged or equipped to get the services their children needed without direct/in-person intervention. Because of that, I'm not surprised to learn that there are still cascading social-emotional consequences and others still playing catch-up academically.

The article called school closures for COVID “lockdowns” referring to the connotative definition. If a national news organization like NBC uses the term “lockdowns” for school closures due to COVID then it’s certainly acceptable in a meme. That’s the issue in this side argument; that the meme incorrectly used the term “lockdowns”, which it clearly did not.

I was just thinking about this the other day. In the context of the libs on here seemingly oblivious that the government could do harm to its own people. I mean in the entire history of the world there hasn’t been a government that hasn’t done harm and or lied to its citizens. How can the libs ignore this?

They are not ignoring they only see the government doing harm to its own people or those trying to come across our border illegally when Trump is and was in charge during the passed 16 soon to be 20 years.

As far as the two people that tried to kill Trump one is dead and the other I assume is still behind bars. What is to talk about? It seems the shooters in this world have now decided to pick different targets like on CEOs. Also what percentage of news reporting leans left? If you randomly turn on TV news programs what are the chances you will hear the lefts point of view? Am I not the only one that posts all the time how news is reported and things that happen get said and then fade into forgottenness with out being really resolved.
