Concerts. 2021 and beyond.

Bought my first tickets since Covid

Ghostface , Raekwon and Gza from Wu Tang Clan in Cleveland.

Also got a rescheduled date for Lupe Fiasco. Hoping to get one for Erykah Badu. Rock concerts are needed. None that appeal to me yet

Don't get your hopes up.....Unless they put someone else under the costumes. I saw them 3 times...the last time I thought "these guys are way past their prime..need to hang it up before they embarrass themselves".

As long as the wife is happy, haha. We saw them a few years ago in Toledo and really enjoyed it.
 
Concerts start next week at the Rose Music Center. John Fogerty, then a sold out 3 doors down, followed by beach boys. About 30 between now and end of September.

Van puts on an interesting concert. For a long time he was playing short shows with mostly deep cuts and a few hits, then Covid hit and he started also doing these anti-lockdown tunes. Now he is playing a little longer show and has gone in a conspiratorially cranky direction plus blues covers and a few hits. You never know what kind of mood he will be in either. Nonetheless on my bucket list.

heard on Hair Nation this AM that Jack Russell, from Great White, is playing in Pickerington this saturday night.

Update....all 3 shows went off without a hitch. People were excited to be there and they were spending money to show it.

Also heard country concert broke all kinds of attendance records.

CC did set records.
They came out today stating that the top voted artist on last year's vote has signed but they cannot announce till fall.

For those don't know each year everyone can vote on
10 or 20 artist they want to see.. seems like it should be a huge name.


Also.. Steven Adler of guns and roses will be in Versailles this fall

Amazing. Our circling of the drain continues....
 
We are not people that typically go to concerts, but Mrs. Ones and I will be going to the Canton Palace Theater on the 28th to see Chicago. Chicago is her favorite.

In September we are going to the same venue to see Pat Benatar.

Saw Sabbath at Hara in the early 80's, towards the back of the arena, was hot as hades. Chicks all over taking their tops off, was like thank you, thank you very much. I was with two gal friends, jumped right in. Man those college years?

I saw Sabbath at Hara around that time as well......

Topless chicks walking around was a norm at Ozzfests as well as a group of them all making out with each other.... great times!!!!!!
