College Football 2025-2026

You guys sure love professional football.
It helps when the team we follow wins the Natty the first year of expanded playoff. OSU won the title by running the gauntlet beating 4 legitimate opponents. They didn't cheat and they proved themselves on the field. No worries of people thinking they should have an asterisk associated with their title.

osu won the natty on the "gift" of expansion. They don't get in if it was a "real" playoff with 4 DESERVING teams. Last year there were only 3 or 4 maximum teams that deserved to be in. And the suckeyes were not 1 of them with 2 losses, including a loss AT HOME as a 20+ point favorite, and not even being good enough to make their own conference title game. (those are NOT playoff credentials in a "real and deserving" playoff. 12 teams is a playoff joke and It will always be a "pseudo" natty.

It was a real playoff. I watched it happen. Given you have repeatedly said you don’t watch much college football and are an admitted fair weather Michigan fan, I understand your confusion. Im happy to have helped clear that up for you!

“The team that beat 3/4 of the final top 10 didn’t deserve a national championship” is undoubtedly bkmk1’s dumbest take and that is saying something given how many moronic takes he has had.

I had the pleasure of actually seeing the latest piece of Buckeye hardware. The word "pseudo" was nowhere to be found on the trophy. I just saw "National Champions".

I could care less what you think about an asterisk. You had the best roster money could buy. Congratulations.

Last year proved that 4 teams were too few. Last year was the first time that a national champion was truly won on the field. I will agree with you that 12 is to many. 8 is perfect. Michigan was lucky to dodge Georgia, probably the best team at season's end and a rematch with Ohio State. Alabama beat themselves and Washington was a weak team from a weak conference. Add in the fact that Michigan was still cheating the early part of the schedule, Michigan championship is and always will be tainted.******

I hope you are smart enough to realize that they only got in because college football saw an opportunity for $$$$$. So they EXPANDED the playoffs and MANY teams had zero business to even be in. And osu does NOT get in under a true earned on the field, best 4 deserving teams. Pseudo natty. They couldn't even make their own conference playoff game. That speaks volumes. And lost AT HOME as a 20+ point favorite. I would bet that they are the only team to do both of those, and still make the playoffs. There is a reason that has never happened. Because they only took teams that earned it on the field during the season. Even the seedings were a joke. And now they are going to change that as well. Travel ball on Sundays know how to seed better than that bogus seeding from last year. Going to 12 and last years playoffs were a complete sham for 3 reasons.
1. how many teams they took. (75%+ have a 0% chance to win the Natty.). That is NOT a real playoff.
2. how many undeserving teams they took.
3. how the teams were seeded.

And Michigan with NO Connor Stallions proved that the suckeyes were not that good and under a "real" 4 deserving team playoff, osu is out. And that is a fact!

How many times do you think that the "4 most deserving teams" were in the 4 team setup?

That is a lie. The fact is Michigan would never had that 2023 team if they hadn't cheated. Michigan wouldn't have won the Big Ten championship or be in the National Playoffs. Michigan had to cheat to avoid 8-5 or 9-4 seasons. Those 5th and 6 years seniors wouldn't have stayed and the 2023 Michigan team wouldn't have been that good. Connor Stalions
cheating handprint was all over that team and you know it.

Obviously they wouldn’t have gotten in under the 4 team system. But clearly they were the best team when they tripled the number of teams.

Why couldn’t Michigan make a REAL national championship when only 2 teams made it? They only won when it was expanded to 4 teams. Fake natty.

1. How many times did the 4 best get in? Pretty much every year. That is also a subjective question. But what is not subjective, is the 12 teams that were put in last year, about 7-8 had a 0% chance to win it. That is not a "real playoff". That is a money grab. It was a joke and a sham.
2. The 2023 Michigan was the best team in college football. And it was very obvious. Most physical. 2-3 deep at every position. Studs at every level on defense. A true team first group of players with 1 common goal. Best OL in college football. The best QB and RB in Michigan football history. The best TE in college football. Best defense in college football. The list doesn't end there....
3. Did poor cryin ryan get his pee wee football signs stolen, and that's why they lost? Excuses and whining.

Based on what? The regular season, and the conference title games, and that body of work is what determines the 4 best. 2 losses, a loss at home as a 20+ point favorite, and not even good enough to play on their own conference playoff game. Those are all facts and the reason they did not earn a spot. Expansion gifted them a spot. In ANY year except the expansion to 12 teams last year, they do NOT get in. FACT!!

Based on the fact that they bested the 11 other teams of the 12 top teams. How can you think only the top 4 count, when none of them won the championship?

The best QB and RB in Michigan football history.
More proof you are a fair weather fan. Rich Leach, Chad Henne, Mike Hart and Tom Harmon exist.
The best TE in college football.
More proof you don’t watch college football. Brock Bowers did not play for Michigan.
3. Did poor cryin ryan
Ironic. Only 1 HC has videos and photos of him crying and it ain’t Ryan Day. That would be Sharon Moore.

It’s honestly impressive how un-informed you are.

Irrelevant, if you actually watched college football you’d know this.

Why couldn’t Michigan ever make it to a TRUE national CHAMPIONSHIP? FACT they only won AFTER it was EXPANDED. Since I capitalized random words, it makes my statement more impactful and true.

Wow, barely 24 hours later and @bkmk1 tops his dumbest take ever by calling Loveland a better TE than Brock Bowers.

Everyone knows 649 yards and 4 touchdowns in 15 games is better than 714 yards and 6 touchdowns in 10 games. What an absolutely moronic statement.

And it is a fact that team would not have been together for the 2023 season if not for Connor Stalions and the cheating that Michigan did and admits to.

It's all subjective. So the cutoff of subjectivity is 4? Twisting things a little to fit your narrative. 🤔

Whatever the final pre playoff poll was, those are the 4 that earned their spot in the playoffs. 1 vs. 4 and 2 vs. 3. Those are the 4 that earned a spot. osu did not. They were gifted a spot from expansion. Their regular season body of work was NOT a playoff resume. Pretty simple.

Well when 75-80% have a zero % chance of winning the Natty, common sense tells you it's a bogus playoff. 12 proved it was a joke. And 4 is the perfect amount. 12 was NOT about the best 12 teams in the country. 12 was about $$$$. And if you think SMU, and Boise St, and Indiana, and Clemson, etc.. were 1 of the 12 best, then you don't watch college football. You have to admit, the 12 best were not the 12 taken. It WAS NOT the 12 best in the country. It was a mistake, and a sham, and a money grab only. Without expansion osu does NOT make the playoffs. Pseudo natty.

What were you a teacher of? Home economics?

I taught enough where I can recognize whining/complaining very easily. And I still love all the posts after the suckeyes lost to "THE" Michigan Wolverines last year and suckeye nation was bashing the tar out of cryin ryan and wanting the clown gone. It is/was hysterical. I know you may think: not answering the question. Sometimes people may not want to share everything. People usually share what they want people to know and with people of their choice. I will only say that I taught a core subject that gets state tested every year. And we can leave it at that.

Why wouldn't they have been together for 2023? Sounds like your opinion, not a fact.
Simple. When Michigan wasn't cheating the best players declared for the draft. There was no reason to stick around. They weren't winning anything and were an average team. Their recruitment was an embarrassment. They were not an elite team so they had to cheat to be relevant again.

12 teams make the playoffs, OSU was one of those 12. So they did in fact earn a spot. Happy to help you out!

Just like Michigan’s pseudo natty. They never won when JUST two teams MADE it to the BCS national CHAMPIONSHIP. Fake natty.
