LOL you hate it so much by continuing to be a fan. I had a co worker who at the time was 60 years old, when news broke about Watson's sexcapades he said I am done and became a Lions fan, have lot of respect for his decision.
Not sure if I'm a fan. The Chubb injury crushed me. Browns losing just reinforces my attitude about Watson.

A tough day for Cleveland, Chubb by all counts is a solid person and has been a top 2-4 rb during his 6 year NFL career. Over the next 50 weeks here is what Browns fans will endure before the start of the 2024 season:
* Will pull off a 6 to 8 win season
* Will fire the head coach at season’s end
* Question of what to do with DeShaun. Yes, he had the 3rd or 4th best QBR rated season w/ the Texans but since his return and play with Cleveland he ranks as having the 26th best QBR.
* Reality is Watson will be the 2024 Browns starting qb.
* Salary cap concerns. 10 players will have a 2024 cap hit of $10 mil or more with Watson leading the way at $63.9 mil or 24.96% of the team cap (assuming team cap of $256 mil).
* Team Ownership isn’t changing anytime soon

The Cleveland factory of misery is running 3 shifts.

This wasn’t trolling, it was just stating the reality of the situation.

I genuinely do feel bad about Chubb, by all accounts a quality person & top tier rb.

Of course. Because the Steelers are loved by the media. He definitely did it on purpose. You put your whole weight into the side of a guys knee and what do you expect?
Minkah has been a media darling since his Bama days, for some reason. They aren't going to call him out on it, but that hit was filthy. He knew it, and even stayed on the ground after the hit like he was hurt too. BS. With any luck someone does the same to him...

At least he ended up in the hospital later on for a chest injury after Ford’s long run where he made the shoestring lunging tackle.

Watson:
* Sacked six times. At least twice, he could have gotten rid of the ball.
* TWO facemask penalties- 30 yards.
* Lost two fumbles.
* One interception.
* 55% completion rate
* 1 referee shove

And the price for this? $230 million; 2022 first-round pick (No. 13 overall), 2023 and 2024 first-round picks, a 2022 fourth-round choice (No. 107), a third-round pick in 2023 and a fourth-round pick in 2024.

Judging a qb by any method other than wins seems silly.
Watson is capable of good games, but is also capable of horrible games (like last night).
Watson is no 3 career qbr. Do you really think he’s the no 3 career qb?

Ok. I watched it. Chubb was still upright. You’re not going to bring him down on the goal line by tackling high. I looked at several articles from non bias sources I didn’t see anyone saying the tackle was “dirty” or even suggesting it was.
I think the same. He’s just trying to make a thigh high tackle.

Those comments are directed at one of our more illustrious posters who blew that stat up our keesters repeatedly. As a point of reference, that same list also contains Krk Cousins and Jimmy Garoppollo.
He not the same qb and struggled.Bigger problem is line and kevin stefsnski can't coach.

No, it was a blind dive bomb right into his knee. I don't think he had any intention of wrecking Chubb's knee, but that method of tackling is inherently dangerous for both the ball carrier and the tackler. And as we saw, both players were injured as a result. We see this often from defensive backs in the league these days when trying to take down larger ball carriers. Denzel Ward is a dive-bomber himself, and I believe it's why he has had so many head injuries. As for Fitzpatrick, he's not a tiny DB. He's a 6'1 207 pound thumper who is often praised for his ability to play like a linebacker in the box. Even if it wasn't malicious, I think it was unnecessary and reckless in this instance.
