Last year was an exciting season in the CHL! the league title came down to the very last week of play and days of games!

Taylor and IH shared the league title last year (taylors 1st CHL title since 1999!)

last years results

1) IH 11-3
1) Taylor 11-3
3) Madeira 10-4
4) Reading 8-6
5) Mariemont 7-7
6) Wyoming 7-7
7) DP 2-12
8) FT 0-14

Can Wyoming put some pieces around Svendsen? Does Taylors freshmen class make an impact on varsity? Madeira may have the best player in the League (Dixon who was hurt the 1st half of last year!)

I think you will see a lot of teams from the mid/bottom slide up. Reading loses alot of Varsity girls not sure what their middle school was like.
I could see this being another year where the champion has 2-4 losses.

Here is my Prediction for this up coming season

1) Taylor (returns 30+ ppg and size , Freshmen lizzy Hilvert will have an impact on varsity she plays varsity VB as well)

2) madeira (has one of if not the best player in the league Dixon)

3) IH (langworthy had a down Junior Year IMO she will have a big year!)

4) Wyoming (svendsen is good and return a good amount as well)

5) MM (spreen is a POY type of player but they need some pieces to help her)

6) Deer Park (Return alot of good players , but CHL play they have struggled vs the top tier teams)

7) Reading (lost ALOT of offense)

8) Finneytown - prove me wrong

POY candidates

1- Montag (taylor)
2- Langworthy (IH)
3- Spreen (MM)
4- Svendsen (wyoming)
5- Dixon (Madeira)
6- Williams (DP)

I would say teams 1-4 could be in any order! Hard to say this year for sure!
POY there are so many choices!

this should be a fun year of girls hoops in the CHL!

Hearing Indian Hill lost a starter to Wyoming but has a good Freshman class. Arrington always gets the kids to play hard.
Dixon is a game changer for Madeira if she stays healthy.
Interested to see what Wyoming does this year with the hiring of the new coach (3 coaches in as many years )
Taylor and Willow will be a tough team.
Just not enough at MM this year.
Then it's everyone else.

Spreen is a STUD for MM. But just not enough around her.

I wish some of these Taylor VB girls would give basketball a try 😞 we have 2 soph 6footers that would help Odor down low a TON!

Willow, Langworth, Miller, Svendsen, Williams and Dixon are clear best 6 players in the CHL.

Langworthy plays well, but settles for way too many threes.

Same could be said for Spreen, but she does find a way to get the the FT line more.

Dixon is the best underclassman and I think she will be consistent this season as she doesn't have to rely on a lot of threes.

Overall I think the standings end up similar to last year. If I recall correctly, the top 7 scorers in the league are all returning this year.
