Figured I would make a separate thread since this seemed to be gaining steam in other ones.

If the bracket is set up as BB had it in another thread it would be as follows:
1. Elder
8. St Ignatius

4. Centerville
5. Hilliard Darby

3. St Xavier
6. Hilliard Davidson

2. Moeller
7. St Edward

Wouldn't be surprised to see it go chalk in Round 1, with Centerville/Darby being the best match. Then Moe/X rematch in semi's with Elder facing a team they haven't seen yet (though they will see both over the next couple weeks) in Centerville/Darby. History shows the winner doesn't necessarily produce state championships, but it is the best test for a lot of these schools on their way to the state tournament.
 
 
The Centerville tournament is awesome and comes at a pretty perfect time of the year. Not too close to the States, teams still have time to improve, etc. but it's a great measuring stick always against quality opponents.

DII needs to get something like this if they want to gain some more relevance. The showcase they had at the beginning of the year seemed to be a good start though. I'm not sure how it was structured, but it seems most of the best teams were there based on the DII state rankings.

Mt. Vernon seems to really be the only contender that wasn't there.

Elder and X both run away with game 2's 25-19. Moeller made a late surge but Beer ran off 4 serves in a row to end it. Elder led by 9 at one point.

Moeller and Darby looking like they might be #3 and #4. They should know each other pretty well by now. Even if the Panthers are a bit down this year, the future is looking good for Darby boys v-ball.
