Cavs 2023-24

this team is S A W F T like Big Perk said . They are all like Kevin Love was with the Cavs . S A W F T. Not one enforcer on the whole team . Maybe Allen a little but he would get decked by Draymond Green in half a mill second

While Draymond is D A F and would cost his team by doing stupid s*** like that.

I had the Kings on the money line. Late season West Coast road trip with nothing on the line produces the inevitable slump.

It doesn't help that the league's "best long-range shooter" went 0 for five from three. The shots must not have been from 25 to 29 feet.

Lots of doom and gloom here and interesting comments.

A late season west coast trip with absolutely nothing at stake - motivation is certainly going to be lacking. If you are surprised by some losses, that is on you.

Perkins is a clown. Would the Cavs lose a fistfight with many teams? Probably yes. Who cares? They do not give trophies for fighting. Of course a team will look "soft" when there is no real motivation to play hard.

I think a few losses are a good thing. The young Cavs are learning that they cannot just show up and launch 3's to win games. I suspect there will be another loss or two on this trip, then when they get home a little "come to Jesus" discussion with Atkinson. As long as the Cavs get back on track with full effort in April for the last couple weeks of the regular season they will be fine in the playoffs (assuming they stay healthy).

Im going to back up and just say this ..ill take the wait and see if Kenny keeps resting any starters to save up energy for the p offs. other teams do it as well. BUT , this team should play their full boat the last 3-4 games .I meen these starters and key bencj guys play what 28-30 minutes a game? So, i dont but into it as much as lets say Lakers resting LeBron or Warriors resting Curry , older guys who still log a lot of minutes for the most part .I think LeBron could probably play right now .I dont think his going is that hurt. Lets see how Cavs look vs Suns, A team right on the edge of being in or totally out of the p offs flip flip flip d boing

250+ points over 2 games is not acceptable. It would be one thing if shots just weren't falling but the defense has been abysmal.

Did you read my post that you replied to? Defense requires effort and motivation, which as I clearly stated twice, is lacking on this trip.

When did the losing streak start ? … the game after they clinched … hmmm

Mitchell is in a terrible funk right now … he will pull himself out of it … so they will be the overall 2nd seed and only win 60-64 games !

Wont work when your bench player ty jerome is.playing alot better than donovan mitchell.
All players go through slumps.

The other problem is that one player is going through a slump your other "stars" need to step it up and carry the team. That's Garland and Mobley's responsibility and they failed last night.

Cavs are up 6 at the half and Ty Jerome has a team worst -5 +/- score while Mitchell is +5 and Garland is +13. Don’t forget your former favorite Collin Sexton is -4. @brian1227 do you ever get tired of being wrong?

He's like Tin Cup standing out in the fairway just knowing he'll eventually hit one on as he continually dunks them into the water.

I am he knows I liked sexton and had to attack.him.Utah management screwed up their future.
Well stop coming on here and attacking other players on the Cavs not named Jerome … I get you like Sexton, so do I … but the nonstop criticism of Garland and Mitchell is a bit much … the others on here might not attack you so much if you start acting like you root for all of the Cavs … just trying to help.

Ok thanks.

Brian, you're the guy who referenced it (+/-) in the past to support Jerome. You are such a hypocrite. Try some balanced criticism across the roster and mix in an occasional compliment that doesn't involve Jerome and we won't look to put you in your place.

By the way, I think it is a misleading stat. I just thought I'd throw it out there as you've used it in the past to support your misguided arguments.

P.S.- I like Jerome and Sexton.
