Cavs 2019-2020

Lost by 42 in Dallas, outscored by 37 in the middle 2 quarters. 5 straight double-digit losses in a row, oh boy! One can only hope they're saving themselves for the 2nd half of a back-to-back at home against the Blazers.

Did Brian think they would be good? This is part of the plan....get another top 10 pick and hopefully trade a few other guys this year for more picks. Love could be dealt too at deadline or this summer.

Have the Cavs found something special in Kevin Porter? If so, where do you play him? Do you move Sexton or Garland to the bench or make him a small 3?

The team has won 3 straight games and dealt Jordan Clarkson, yet not a peep from anyone here. I don't know that interest in this team/franchise has ever been more dead under Gilbert's ownership tenure.

It very over.

Clarkson trade was a decent deal for both sides....Utah needed scoring off the bench and they should be a playoff team. Cavs get 2 second round picks and Exum for a year and a half on a modest deal. He may not even play much. Key is it opens up playing time for Porter at his natural spot at 2 guard and Windler should be healthy soon and he can get minutes backing up Cedi at the 3. Sexton and Garland play more too. Love and/or Tristan will be next. Hope to get at least one first rounder in those deals.

I heard an interesting stat today. Despite the success of the team and the championship and the years of playoffs, the Cavs will finish the decade with a sub-.500 record.

Get rid of both in one deal....BAM!

Not a great surprise, really. The seasons when they tanked and landed the #1 overall picks were extraordinarily bad.

Agreed. When you think about it there were some awful years in there. Just send odd that the decade we see as a success would have that record.

It was a successful decade for sure, but it shows just how much of an uphill battle it is when a franchise can't retool on the fly for whatever reason (undesirable destination for marquee free agents, inability to keep core players, inability to draft well outside of the top 5, etc). Plenty of other NBA teams are in that boat.

Woke up today with the Cavs having three more wins than the Golden State Warriors,oh how they fall...BAM!
