No thread yet? Starocci recently has been caught up in some drama at Penn state due to stealing stuff from his own teammates. Beau Barlett has now left the rtc.
 
 
I don't know if anyone is familiar with Scott Casber, he's the host of Takedown Radio among other things. I met years ago when he broadcasted his show from Wrestle Against Autism. Very objective, easy going guy, who I've always looked at as primarily an interviewer. Anyway, for the last month or so he's put Cael, Cody, Casey, and the entire NLWC on complete BLAST! His says it's developing into a horrible culture etc. Going as far as saying if any parent wants to send their kid to PSU, he could talk them out of it. Kinda weird stuff. I know he's Iowa based, but never has been a Hawkeye homer.
 
So 1 alleged drama in what well over a decade and psu wrestling is toxic?keep wishing n peddling....how well did c-bus do a lehigh valley legend?parents might want to take that into thought

Is there drug testing in college wrestling? I'd like to see it. Some body ought to be able to see all the drugs, prescribed or not, that athletes are taking to assure that the playing field is level. It can be done in a way to preserve privacy rights. Of season too.

You can kinda throw Gillman into the mix (pre '25)... He's now serving a suspension he recieved a month after he just returned to the NLWC for skipping (allegedly) drug tests. When the tests were, I don't know. The saga continues 🙄.

Gilman's suspension isn't really a thing- it was whereabouts violations, and all of them were between Olympic trials 2024-start of college season. Gilman didn't have plans of wrestling any more but didn't take his name out of the testing pool.
