Did i miss the part where they beat up cops and broke windows and doors while chanting Hang Mike Pence?

Still should be removed and charged and if they resist arrest felony charges.
Oh, I see. If it isn't exactly the same, it is nothing like it. lol

I bet the MSM and democrats don't call this an "insurrection". So what's the difference?

they are dems

95% of those charged were for none violent offences...many of them spent over a year in solitary confinement... for example they seem much more violent and angry than the scary Viking hat guy who was escorted around and praying with the capitol police...maybe 3 years solitary for these insurrectionist?

To be fair, if whomever planned this was not there, they should get at least 22 years, correct?

They occupied the office of the leader of the majority party in the Congress of the United States of America. If this isn't interfering in the business of the United States Government I don't know what is.

And as GR noted the vast majority of rioters on 1/6 have been arrested for non violent "crimes". Very few actually assaulted police.

Wow, the Feds are arguing that this guy should get 4 moe years then that BLM protester that set a builidng on fire burning a man alive. In that case, the same DOJ just 2 years ago argued for leniency and the guy only got 10 years. So I guess a right winger who assaults police should get a 40% longer sentence then a left winger who burns a man alive. Got it Happy!

Message Mitt sent to McConnell re Jan 6th revealed: Stunning text message Mitt Romney sent to Mitch McConnell on January 2, 2021 warning him of the Jan 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol, that Trump is the instigator, and he may not help. (From McKay Coppin’s new book “Romney: A Reckoning”.)

Mitt Romney: “In case you have not heard this, I just got a call from Angus King, who said that he had spoken with a senior official at the Pentagon who reports that they are seeing very disturbing social media traffic regarding the protests planned on the 6th. There are calls to burn down your home, Mitch; to smuggle guns into DC, and to storm the Capitol. I hope that sufficient security plans are in place, but I am concerned that the instigator—the President—is the one who commands the reinforcements the DC and Capitol police might require.”

An Idaho woman convicted of felony charges related to the Capitol attacks on Jan. 6, 2021 was sentenced to 30 months behind bars on Wednesday—and then immediately hopped on Facebook to complain about it to her followers.

“I understood what Jesus felt like when he was in the garden of Gethsemane praying and felt so alone,” said Yvonne St Cyr, according to KTVB. The 55-year-old was also handed 36 months’ probation, $2,000 in restitution, and a $1,000 fine in a sentencing hearing that was punctuated by what NBC News labeled her “bizarre” 45-minute rant.

“I did the right thing,” St Cyr said of her actions on Jan. 6. “I know it sounds delusional.”

In her subsequent Facebook live video, St Cyr explained that her prison report date was six weeks away. “So we’ve got six weeks for America to figure it out and stand up and get some truth, or I’m going to jail,” she said.

In the meantime, she advised her followers to “just keep watching Tucker, keep spreading the truth, keep talking about the corruption, keep sharing, and we will bring the system down.”

  • Asked their opinion on the protest, 49% said it was “mostly peaceful” and 45% called it an “illegal insurrection.”
  • Quizzed on the sentences, 42% said they have been “too harsh,” 29% said they haven’t been harsh enough, and 21% called them just about right.
  • Asked if they agreed with Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) that the sentences were “designed to send a loud and clear message from Joe Biden and his thugs … If you oppose us, you’re going to jail for a long time,” 55% agreed and 36% did not.

When it's all said and done we will find out that an enormous miscarriage of justice has occurred with respect to the indictments, trials and sentencing of the 1/6 rioters:

He notes that he became suspicious of what was really going on during one of the trials last year.

“There was a moment where I felt like that I saw something untoward or something suspicious happening between the lead prosecuting attorney, his name is Jeffrey Nestler, an assistant U.S. attorney, and Judge Amit Mehta, who was sitting on the bench in this particular trial.”

According to Baker, his “antennas went up” when he saw what he believed to be “suppression of evidence” and “collusion.”

That’s when he began digging.

“I backdoored my way into the Capitol to see these videos” as well as “into seeing some of this evidence that was under court seal,” he tells Poulos.

He was able to verify that what he saw in court was in fact a suppression of evidence “that would quite likely be exculpatory evidence for these defendants.”

Can we stop pretending that the country isn't divided down the middle with respect to these overly harsh sentencing:

Like low level pot dealers in prison? Yeah … lots of people think that sucks too.

Slow to respond to this one....LOTR is waiting for the talking points. None posted on RW media thus far so expect them to coordinate a response overnight. It is tougher with Tuckers 9:00 timeslot.

Take a closer look. The DOJ had no choice but to charge him and they really hit him hard. Wait until he accepts a plea deal with no prison time and community service for a couple of weekends:

Ray Epps was charged with one misdemeanor count of "Disorderly or Disruptive Conduct in a Restricted Building or Grounds, in violation of Title 18, United States Code, Section 1752(a)(2)" according to a charging document filed on Monday and made public on Tuesday.

Some of us have a life outside Yappi Happy. But I don't need talking points to see that this is more farce coming from the Biden DOJ. With Carlson exposing the double standards with regards to Epps the DOJ had no choice but to charge the guy with something since he's all over video doing similar things to what is landing people in jail for years. So here's the hard hitting charges:

Ray Epps was charged with one misdemeanor count of "Disorderly or Disruptive Conduct in a Restricted Building or Grounds, in violation of Title 18, United States Code, Section 1752(a)(2)" according to a charging document filed on Monday and made public on Tuesday.

Damn, you would almost think Epps is a member of BLM!

So what's the over/under for the time that Epps serves in jail? A day.

Yea, only a moron would look at the SINGLE MISDEMEANOR charge and not understand that Epps is getting a sweetheart deal from the DOJ. Other people who did much less then what Epps is seen doing on video were sentenced to years in prison. How long do you think Epps will serve in prison if he pleads guilty to this SINGLE MISDEMEANOR charge?

Check out Epps in this video at the front line of the insurrection helping to breach our sacred Capitol Building:

I can hear it now the FBI is now telling Ray Ebbs we have to charge you or it will come out you were working for us and that can't happen. We tried but the R's just will not let this fade away. Look at it this way we will work a deal that will give you the shortest sentence possible. This will also help you win your lawsuit against Fox news and that win will make the time behind bars well worth it.

He is on a number of video's, the night before and during the riot, urging 1/6 protestors to storm the Capitol Building.

On the video you refer to he is right up against the barrier whch means he is trespassing and contributing to pushing that barrier out of the way. I believe that pretty much every one else you see in that video were charged with felony's.

Yep. And a single misdemeanor that he pleads to will mean no jail and nothing on his record.
