Because 90% of the BLM protests were peaceful demonstrations. The mayhem mostly conducted by people that had no part of the protests or fringe groups on left and right who showed up with the intention of creating trouble.
The Proud Boys met with people in the presidents circle. They brought plans, weapons and tactical gear for the purpose of preventing the peaceful transfer of power. The fact that you want to pardon people that beat up cops just shows how far down the drain your morals and ideology has fallen. You are pro-sedition. Pro-violence. Just toss the constitution and rule of law aside so I can pretend my guy won.

The BLM protests resulted in violence and mayhem all across the United States. And they went on for months. By every measure they were more violent, resulted in more property damage, and resulted in more police casualties then the singular 1/6 riot.
There was nothing done on 1/6 that warranted more then a year in jail. The zeal with which the justice system has gone after the 1/6 rioters and the punishments it has meted out are grossly disproportionate to what happened that day. And this is especially apparent when you compare the events of 1/6 to the BLM riots.
And as an aside what "weapons" did the goof ball Proud Boys bring to take control of the Capital Building and keep Trump in office? I'm thinking they would have needed guns, bombs, tanks and fighter jets. So what fearsome weaponry was actually employed Happy?
