Bucs to hire Schiano; Zimmer safe?

Interesting move. After the Chip Kelly idea folded, I thought they would try to find a guy with NFL experience. But when you can have a guy like Bill Belichick speak highly of Schiano, he should be alright. And as for Zimmer, he'll probably get his shot after this season.

Someone in my office told me that Miami said he was "too honest" when he interviewed with them. This guy told me he heard the Dolphins asked him about the situation in Atlanta with Petrino and he more or less said Petrino didn't have the balls to stay with Atlanta and deal with the Vick situation. Not sure how true any of this is but it does sound Zimmer-esque.

Zimmer said that last year when they went to Atlanta. The dolphins front office probably asked him about it.

“He’s a gutless b—–d. Quote that. I don’t give a s—.”

When told that we might might not be able to use the B word, Zimmer went one better: “How about this, gutless MF. You can use that.”

Zimmer got interviewed by a couple teams but as was already stated he was "too honest" or as I heard it "too blunt" for their liking. That's alright by me I'm glad we're able to hold onto him for at least one more season. The defensive players really like him and get up to play for him.
