Top players returning:
Claudia Pifher 19ppg -NW District Co POY, District 6 Co Poy, N-10 Conference POY, 2nd team All Ohio. Claudia is a phenomenally skilled player but mentally she is going to have to not shy away from being our leader and constantly being in attack mode offensively in order for us to be successful.

Emily Siesel - 13ppg, 5 spg, 3rd team NW District, 2nd Team District 6, 1st Team N-10. Emily has done a great job in pre-season of becoming more vocal and helping with our inexperienced players of teaching and being a coach on the floor. Emily will need to be extremely proficient with taking care of the basketball and consistent on the offensive end for us to be successful.

Ryley Kantzer - 4ppg, 5 rpg, 3 apg - Ryley is a very well-rounded player for us who has solid basketball IQ. Ryley's role offensively will really need to increase to fill some of the scoring void that we graduated.

Julia Evak - 4ppg, 4rpg - Julia will be a 3x letterwinner who improved dramatically over the course of the summer, her getting more reps has allowed her to be the most comfortable it appears she has been with her role than in the past.
I expect Julia to have major contributions on both ends of the floor for us.

Top players lost:
Taylor Ratliff, 2x All Ohioan, 1,000 point scorer. Taylor is a tough one to replace from an athletic and leadership standpoint. It is something that we have addressed in pre-season and will continue to work on becoming more vocal and a strong communicative team.

Kyleigh Brown - 3yr Starter, 5ppg, Kyleigh was an energy kid for us who was always our go to when we needed a spark. A Physical presence, we expect Paige Collene to try and mirror this role for us this year.

Kendra Ackerman - 30 Made threes last season. Kendra was a consistent shooter for us last year and had numerous clutch baskets for us. We have 2 Juniors in Kate Siesel and Sydney Wurm that can really shoot it for us so we expect them to help fill the void left by Kendra.

New impact players:
Kennedy Deppen-Junior -(transfer from South Central) 1st Team Firelands Conference last year and 2nd Team District 6. Kennedy provides some length and size for us this year and the ability to create her own shot from different areas on the floor.

Kate Siesel - Junior - Knock down shooter who score a lot of points in a hurry if she's feeling it. By adding Kate to the lineup should allow for more driving lanes for Emily and Claudia with defenses having to be aware of where Kate is at.

Sydney Wurm - Junior - Another knock down shooter who shot making ability is very high when she has her feet set. Sydney like Kate gives us a great opportunity to score from the perimeter.

Paige Collene - Junior - Physical, Does all the little things right type of kid. High Energy, not scared to play bigger than what she is and will be one to track down the 50/50 balls for us.

Final Comments:
Right now, this is our biggest area of concern, we must become more passionate about the defensive end of the floor. As mentioned, we rely heavily on making shots so if we aren't connecting offensively then we are going to have to get exponentially tougher on the defensive end of the floor if we want to be competitive.
