Bryn Martin (Springboro) Decommits

Just saw an article about Bryn Martin, a senior at Springboro, decommits from Washington. She had a great career at Springboro, was a McDonald's All-American nominee, and holds the scoring title at Springboro. I always wondered why she was going across the country to play at Washington, but now she is reopening her recruitment at an odd time in my opinion.

Anyone have any intel? Or thoughts about where she is looking?

Well Washington has top 10 recruiting class coming in which included Martin

She imo was penciled in for playing time as a freshman.

I know Washington then added a transfer from USC Avery Howell.

Maybe saw her potential playing time as a freshmen decrease.

Maybe she just had a change of heart and wanted to play closer to Ohio

Most talented players want to come in a get significant minutes or possibly start.

Maybe she was promised something and it didn’t pan out like she thought.

Could be a number of reasons why she decided to open her recruitment again.

Where she ends up will be interesting for sure.

According to Journal-News, Bryn is now committed to THE Ohio State University. Glad she is closer to home.
