Girls Wrestling Coaches,
Next season, Normandy HS & the Parma City School District will host a two-day tournament. We would like to get this tournament done early in the season where it would not interfere with IRONMAN or F.I.G.H.T. However, we do want to make this tournament a premier tournament and yearly staple in Northern, OH for girls wrestling.
-The tournament will be a pool to bracket style tournament to maximize wrestling opportunities for our athletes.
-The event will be hosted at Valley Forge High School, in Parma, OH and we currently anticipate having 5-6 mats between 2 gymnasiums.
-There will be custom team awards for the top 3 teams and individual awards for the top 4 athletes in each individual weight class. There will also be an award for the most valuable wrestler of the tournament.
-We are in currently in contact with Wrestle One Tournaments, so this tournament will be run smooth and efficient. Lastly, we are also in contact with a few companies that may sponsor a team set of singlets or various gear for the overall winning team.
