These are just numbers online and do not define the girls putting that foot on the line. To the parents and those new to wrestling we are just washed up individuals putting too much time into online posting. I am sure I have missed some or weights have changed, just some late night boredom while working away. Comments, concerns and snotty remarks are welcomed!

PS I am poor so these are only the free top 10 ranked per dubstat

Craft on top like always. Dimasso for being so hyped up, I wasn't impressed with when I got to see her. Cruz may be able to make it to state with smart wrestling.
Brokaw and Perez should be a great match up but I feel Brokaw will be fine until state.
Don't see very many other exciting matches in this district

140 may be the best weight to watch at Big Walnut. AWW ranks have 2. Tibbs, 3. Danzy, 4. Leng 6. A. Green (135) 7. A. Smith 10. Casto 13. N. Johnson and 19. McKenzie. Plus an unranked Riddle is back on the mat after being injured most of the season and she won this District at 135 last year. So that is 7 state qualifiers (4 placers) from a year ago and only four will get out this year.

Now looking at results from sectionals and it adds even more suspense. Casto teched Leng at Marysville. Smith won a tight match over Johnson at Licking Valley. Tibbs pinned Danzy but it was 7-4 heading into the final period. McKenzie made the finals at Gallia by beating Riddle 14-7, before losing 12-1 to Green.

Quarterfinal matchups are insane if they happen.... Green vs Johnson, Danzy vs Casto, Smith vs Riddle/Leng and McKenzie vs Tibbs. Going to be some fireworks!!

Using AWW rankings for this, but seems like there could be some other good potential matches.

120 - 1. Carder vs 7. Wentz
145 - 1. Holderby vs 2. Knapp
155 - 2. Grimes vs 10. Wisseh/14. Keane
190 - 2. Lee vs 6. Beaulieu
235 - 5. Cowan vs 6. Lay

Incredibly bad take. Dimasso is an awesome wrestler and a great kid. She had one loss coming into districts and took third yesterday so I would call that pretty impressive (particularly for a freshman). Cruz also wrestled great. If you don't see any other exciting matches in the bracket then you don't know very much about wrestling. The quality of wrestling has gotten better every year, and yesterday there were numerous state placers, state qualifiers, and other top competitors that didn't make it out.

Dont fall for the bait. Theyre trolling (that being said, your take here is on point).

This doesn't say anything about the quality of competition, it just means that you must not follow girls wrestling very closely. You don't know State Placer Reagan Knapp, who beat Holderby yesterday? Never heard of 3 time state placer Desi Lee? I have no problem with people being unfamiliar with the competition, but if you're going to throw shade, maybe do some research so that it's seems like you know what you're talking about.

That guy is probably one of the dads from the boys side that’s still upset about the platform. Across the state there were some pretty awesome matchups! Big Walnut was fun, this was our first time in the central, normally we are in the SW. I was impressed!
