Big 10 to pull the plug on the season tomorrow

Dan Patrick is reporting that the Big 10 and PAC 10 will both announce tomorrow that they are cancelling the upcoming season. According to Patrick the Big 10 voted on closing the season over the weekend, with 10 votes to cancel the season, and only Iowa and Nebraska voted to play the season. If this is true, this will probably have a huge impact on the Ohio High School Season. Of note, is that the SEC is reaching out to the Big 12 and ACC to form a one year super league.

Other sites are now confirming this as being true, speculation now that athletes from Big 10 will be able to get an immediate transfer to schools that are going to continue to play.

One has to wonder now if Dewine has an opening to close down the season for high school football, based on Ohio State voting to not play the upcoming season due to the health issues related to CV19. I think Dewine wants to shut it down, it's just my opinion!

Lets assume that more school districts start shutting down their football teams for the year, and lets presume that some schools will allow their teams to continue to play. Will this allow the kids at schools that are shuttering their program for the year, to now have the ability to transfer to a school that is playing? This would be very interesting, it would be like a feeding frenzy of schools massing large amounts of talent for a one season run.
