Adidas Outdoor Nationals

Adidas Outdoor seems to have much less talent overall vs. the other two national championships, as well as Brooks, but there's still some good stuff going on if you look for it.

Cases in point:

Kenna Stimmel - 2nd - 4.20m (13' 9 1/4")
Zoe Lamb (Centerville) - 3rd - 4.05m (13' 3 1/2") BIG-TIME PR - previous best 12' 6" - moves Lamb to = #9 Ohio all-time!
Peyton Proffitt (Westfall) - 5th - 3.90m (12' 9 1/2") PR - previous best 12' 9" - now #25 Ohio all-time

As a side note from a former vaulter myself in a past lifetime, the height progression at AON clearly demonstrates that they didn't know what they are doing. 6" increments for girls at the 13-14 foot HS level is RIDICULOUS. Whoever is running the show there was not ready for prime time. I don't see a 3-national meet weekend lasting more than a year or two.

Agree that Adidas has less talent than Nike and New Balance.

It was great to see Brady Yingst (Lima Perry) win the boys 1 mile championship run in 4:12.58 but there were only 8 boys in the race and only 1 who gave him any competition. He holds the state D3 1600m record 4:09.20

The girls 800 championship race only had 1 competitor and the girls 1600 championship only had 3!
