4/1 Lax game overview & scores

Can someone give me scores and a review of the key lacrosse games of 4/1:

Moe vs. Thomas Worthington

X vs. Mariemont

Mason vs. Turpin

Summitt vs. Fenwick

Is there that big of a difference between a D2 State Contender (self proclaimed by MHS) and a D1 squad who may not be Top 10 in Ohio?

Mariemont, surely will supply:
1) the # of pipes they hit
2) # of ground balls the secured
& how it was really closer!
 
Moe lost to Thomas Worthington 9-8. That drops them to 0-3 with three close losses to TW, Cathedral (IN) & Western Reserve. Happens when you play a tough schedule.

Anyone got anything on these...

Kilbourne vs Jerome
Wooster vs Western Reserve

Good games to get out and see tonight..

Kent Roosevelt vs. University School
Hilliard Davidson vs Hoover
Wellington vs Pickerington

Nobody was talking crap about X so that is unnecessary. Summit was a different story because everyone was hyping them up, and they didn't prove themselves. Mason should have been a win but we gave it up, and everybody is pissed about it. We aren't guaranteeing a win at state or even making it there, but of r-4 it looks like we have the best chance to get there.

I will try again: Is there that big of a difference (9-0 @ half) between a "good" Div 2 & a Div 1 team?

So it is an exciting start to a new season for all divisions, all schools, and all players. A word of encouragement to the boys out on the field - try hard and have fun. Let's try to keep all of the posts this season positive and share the really good times that lacrosse brings to you, your families, and your communities. This will make it better for all and make everyone catch the LAX fever!!!

Moe lost in OT to Cathedral. Were winning most of game.

Moe lost by 3 to Western Reserve which has 5th year seniors as a prep school. Moe got within 1 with 3 minutes to go and ran out of gas. BTW, Western Reserve took Mcdonough (MD) to double overtime before losing. Mcdonough was in top 5 nationally last year.

Moe also lost to TW in overtime. Moe was winning most of that game as well.

Moeller is very young especially on defense. They score lots of points. They will do well locally at least.

Don't disagree with you. I was at the Cathedral game, and Moe was in control. Hayden saw alot of shots that game. (Does anyone in Cincinnati have as nice turf as Lockland? very nice..) Wallace doesn't play (concussion) and he may have helped.

Anthing close to WRA is a "mental" win. They are loaded, year after year. Can do that with 5th year guys. No harm in a loss to them.

Not sure about the TW game. Heard Cory did not play. He would have been a difference maker if that is true. But one player can't make up a whole game. TW must have doen something right to get that win. I wasn't there, so I cannot comment.

Overall, yes they are young and still learning Nates system. It won't be long. Solid Sophs and Freshman are already playing varsity and getting valuable time.

People better enjoy the short time while Moe is rebuilding, because they are absolutly loaded from 8th grade down to 3rd. The 7/8's are very talented and the 6/5/4/3's are hammering everyone. (the 6/5's are unbeaten and playing middle school teams to get the best competition) The 3/4's have not had a good game yet.

I think they are 31-1-1 from 8th down in 2009. Moes future is very bright....

Mason beat Moe in their scrimmage.
