Hmmmm, so Tall-town losing a kid, Smoove think the name is Kersten, who was in the program for his first 2 years and is familiar wit' they O and D? Why he leavin'? Seem to Smoove that he would be the most-logicalistical dude to step in and play, or is Smoove missin' sumpin'?

Why he goin' to Tall-town when Ellet gots a new coach now and they gots to be better than they was last year at 1-9...Seem to Smoove like people flyin' around and what it seem like is they don't want to compeete for jobs, they is assuminating that they gonna have a startin' role. Smoove gonna warnify peeps now, you gots to work, Smoove's brothuhs, just gots to WORK!!! Nothin' is given. No, if there was some other stuff that Smoove not bein' informated aboutcht that was inside stuff at Tall-town or Ellet, then that change things. Someone mentionated somethin' earlier in this thread aboutcht handlin' somethin' bad by Hays....Who is Hays? Smoove do not know this person. So, do this kid who is supposedlee transferratin' to Tall-town have garanteed startin' role as QB1 at Tall-town? Smoove think that a kid comin' in as a senior, like Smoove heardified the kid from Ellet will be, and only have 5 starts under belt, all blown out losses, would be guaranteeified a startin' position. From what I hear there is a lot layers to this onion, and I am not going to put someone else’s business out there. Hay is the head football coach at Tallmadge. It definitely has very little to do about competition from what I am told. There is a lot more to how this situation came about and unfolded, than people realize. Also keep in mind there is a different dynamic when it comes to Tallmadge politics (good old boy network).

Smoove love Smoove some high school football, ain't beent so involvated the last few years as Smoove have beent solidifyin' Smoove's reputationation as a Chickie Pleaser, but now, Smoove have done seaparationated Smoove's self from any other wanna-bees, so Smoove gonna start pickin' a Game of the Week, so to say, and go see some ball this Fall. THe Concessionary Chickies will still be the target of Smoove's evening, but Smoove will actually watch some of the games this year. Bring on the newz boyz!!!! Smoove outcht!

Heard from a couple of sources, that the prized in coming QB transfer that just enrolled at Tallmadge is using an address from one of the current junior’s dad’s rental houses, and is still living in Rittman 🤔🤔🤔.

If true, this will not fly. Tallmadge admin doesn’t play those games.
 
Tall-town play games and let stuff slide. They let some serious hazing stuff that even Smoove would not do wit' a Chickie, and the dudes on the FB team gotted away wit; it wit' a slap on the wrist. SO, Smoove say, "Yeah, they play those games."
 
I'm hearing that Tallmadge has some financial issues on the horizon. Last time this issue came up, we lost a couple coaches. Maybe this is why some athletes may choose to leave.

One of the reasons we moved here was for the schools. Hope not too.
 
Football divisions/regions are out:

Division 3 - Region 9
Tallmadge (298+2=300)

Tallmadge has 298 boys and an extra 2 for the competitive balance.
 
Since we are allowed to talk about other things in this thread, looks like they are finally working on the dugouts on the baseball field. Hopefully it will be ready for the 2026 season. Still not sure what they will do with the netting along Munroe Rd to stop cars from getting hit by foul balls. Not the best place to put home plate.

would be cool if they could get a game in on it this season. These seniors were always promised a new field
 
Not sure how accurate this is but I was told no baseball on the field until a screen was up to protect the cars on Munroe. Not even fielding practice. Didn't make much sense to me because they could have a good practice there without any hitting.
 
Right now, the baseball team is really struggling. Getting on the new field could help re-energize the program.
