Mom is a Norton Alum, Grandpa teaches at Norton (or did), dad is from the park. They lived in Norton forever and built in Tallmadge. They are now moving back to Norton from what I'm told. I don't understand what the issue is.

Would have to agree we will drop some we should win early which is pretty scary when you know Highland and Aurora are lurking later in the schedule.

So exciting times means WINNING against D4/D5 teams, weird times we live in. Enjoy it for a couple years til the Conference is broken up and bigger schools then Tallmadge want in
 
Smoove a little late to this partay, so who is leaving Tallmadge-town and going to Norton? Are we talkifyin' aboutcht a kid that has beent in Talladge-town and now leavifyin' because they playin' games with someone who they think is moving to T-town? Smoove brain bein' smuthered and squashified by all this flyin' from this school to that school and all this stuff. OHSAA haver bastardified the sports, let Smoove say that. Akron have made it too easy to go school to school, and the parents are even worse! Kids move to a district, you can go to that school, but the open enrollment is out of controlification! Smoove know there is coaches at certain schools callin' on kids all over the city in hoops and football, they know it ain't allowed, but they do it and the parents of the target of their calls are all honored and stuff becasue they gettin promised scholarships, and bunch of BS. Smoove even heardified of some coaches from a AKron school pickin' up students from other Akron school to take them to life and work out at the other school! If that ain't wrong, Smoove don't never wanna be right again (which Smoove is always right most of the time). APS doin' anything aboutcht it? Nope, not what Smoove have heard. They just want they checks to keep goin' into they bank accounts and they happy. Smoove don't want to wish ill-will on anyone, that ain't right, but what Smoove sayin' is that KARMA is a real thang and it do come around and when it do, Smoove kinda like seein' it play outcht!
So, back to T-madge, why the kids leavin' and goin' elsewheres? Smoove just want the kids to be able to play ball with they buddies and that how it should be. Kids is good, they noticed by the college peeps. It is their job to seek them out and get them on they radar. In lots of wayz, it is like Smoove scopin' outcht the chikcies at concessionary stands. Smoove get eyes fixatified on a couple, make the Mooves toward them that the resistification level is non-existent, and Smovoe swoopes in for the Groove! Kinda like a hawk checkin' out for prey.....That a GOOD ONE, rightcht therr. Smoove is like a Hawk huntin' Smoove's prey in the concessionary stand. Keen eyes, attitude of no fear, livin' for the moment when Smoove will be poundin'....Yep, That is exactly how Smoove is. Smoove digressifies, why the kids fee lthe need to fly all around year after year? Not sayin' this is at all what the T-town kid be doin', but if they treated wrong at T-town, word get around and it won't be good for them. Smoove spoken enuff aboutcht this, Smoove gonna go head to the club and get a little hootch in Smoove's blood and see what type of good-good Smoove can get into this evening......it gonna be a GOOD NIGHT, y'all! Smoove have a really nice feelin' in Smoove's nether regions!!!! Smoove Out!

Never joined Wadsworth. That was a short lived thought. Came to a few open throws in off szn few yrs ago, then was MIA = realized he wasn’t gonna be qb1… on the 9th grade team. And, stayed at Barberton…. That year.

If you go to Danny Boys, they use the same kitchen, so there are times you can order off either menu...not sure if it is all the time or when it is slow. West Ave Tavern is a local favorite but I've not had good experiences there. Others seem to love it.

Tallmadge has a new restaurant called East Avenue Gyros in the old Dairy Queen building. There have been 5-6 restaurants open and close in the building the last few years. Good luck to the new owners.
 
Smoove wonderin' if anyone ever beent to the little restaurant off the circle that used to be Delanie's? It look like it mught be a good little place to grab a bite when Smoove bags a Blue Devil Momma, but want to know if anyone else had a successful meal thre? Nothin' Smoove likes worser than when Smoove want to Smooverize a chickie with a fish sammich and french fries before gettin to the Boom Boom Action only to find out the place Smoove go to has pretty untidy and ungood grindage. That almost makes Smoove not want to get the freaky-deaky on, but then Smoove rememberify what Smoove is put on this Earth for, to pleasrate the chickies and Spread the Seed of Love. All of Smoove's worries vanishify and Smoove back in the game, makin' chickie the only object of Smoove's crave for the next 2 hours, and Smoove just pick up some frozen Appetizers and get to the Smooverizin'.

So, back to Smoove's ponderification, anyone beent there? Plus, what it lookin' like at T-town? Did the young'un move on to Norton-ville or what happeneatin' over in Tall-town? Smoove love Smoove some high school football, ain't beent so involvated the last few years as Smoove have beent solidifyin' Smoove's reputationation as a Chickie Pleaser, but now, Smoove have done seaparationated Smoove's self from any other wanna-bees, so Smoove gonna start pickin' a Game of the Week, so to say, and go see some ball this Fall. THe Concessionary Chickies will still be the target of Smoove's evening, but Smoove will actually watch some of the games this year. Bring on the newz boyz!!!! Smoove outcht!

The kid from Ellet only played 5 games because he transferred from Barberton and had to sit half the games. Kid went 0-5 during that stretch.

The Kersten, kid who lit up last year for Talmadges JV, as a sophomore, is definitely heading to Norton, where they used to live.

The kid should be a solid HS QB. I know nothing about the other kid. I do know the transfer kid is more of a pocket type of player which to me in HS isn't always ideal. A running threat at QB is always a problem for HS defenses.

The kid from Ellet is definitely not a mobile QB. I believe Tallmadge is in for a very long year. I haven't seen their schedule but unless they have a great running game and knock out defense, this may a down year for them. Only gimme wins are Kent and Falls.

Don’t sleep on Kent, if they don’t drop 2 TD in the end zone, they beat Tallmadge last year.
