Trey Kerston should be the starting QB next year. I think he will step in and fill the vacancy really well. Running back was by committee last year with four different players carrying the ball. Two graduated, so I don't think they will lose much at RB, just more carries for the two returning backs. WRs should be solid as well as the Blue Devils rotated a number of younger WRs with their Seniors.

The line is the big question mark. The Seniors dominated the playing time on the line. If they can fill those spots, they should have a good offensive year. Maybe a little better than last year. The defense is a bit of a question mark similar to the offense. Plenty of fast, smaller athletic kids. The question is going to be the size up front. There has been success at the younger ages, so I think they will be fine.
 
As far as restaurants go, Firehouse is my favorite. If you go to Danny Boys, they use the same kitchen, so there are times you can order off either menu...not sure if it is all the time or when it is slow. West Ave Tavern is a local favorite but I've not had good experiences there. Others seem to love it.

I think you are underrating how challenging losing an entire starting line is going to be, especially with a new QB on top of it. Tallmadge will still be competitive but there is no way the team outperforms 2024 unless that line comes together fast as Brecksville week 2 is going to be a big test.

I agree, it is going to be challenging. I really don't know how effective the new line will be. Hoping for the best.

By the way, dont the Blue Devils graduate have a huge o lineman with multiple D1 offers? Has he made a decision on where he'll play in college yet?

I saw Brecksville last year against Lake, they were terrible. I can't imagine they’re going to be markedly better this coming season.

Is this their last year in the suburban?
 
The move is official for the 2027-28 school year but I believe it was already posted (can't find it) that the three will get out early and begin in the Metro for the 2026-27 school year.
 
I have always wondered if the Suburban League would have been able to keep Tallmadge, Falls, and Kent if they did sort of a Premier League with their football divisions. Every couple of years realign the divisions so all the best teams are in one division and if you fail to perform drop down in the other. Probably a bit too aggressive for a high school conference, but I do feel the Suburban League divisions have been insanely lopsided.

In regards to food- You cannot beat Danny Boys/Firehouse. Go to Danny boys, get the create your own pasta and get the cajun shrimp alfredo. If it wasn't for the roundabout I'd be 500 lbs.
