Oh wow they have a whole other tournament to go through. I seen they won them two games Sunday and I read they will play in the championship next Monday. Still four games left to win it all.
I thought I heard that whoever wins the Cleveland Browns bracket, will then play whoever wins the Cincy Bengals bracket for State Championship, is that true?

Girls flag football that Massillon is in, is sponsered by the NFL, so no to a Columbus tournament, the Bengals tournament is Saturday and it looks like all Cincy area teams, Westerville Central a Columbus area team played Massillon in round one and lost.

State Championship will be played in PBTS regardless of the results of the semis… hopefully the Tigers can fight through it!

It might be but idk. All I'm going by is the tournament bracket I seen posted. I thought that was it lol thats 4 games in a row a hour a part. Sounds like there is another if they win that tournament. Topping the the boys having to win 7 games instead of 6 for a title.

Should be 1v1 once state comes around; it is versus the Bengals champion

Yeah I meant another game not another tournament if they win the tournament Monday which makes 7 tournament games all together. They played two this past weekend have 4 next Monday plus the state championship game vs the Bengals champ.

Pretty exhausting!! Whoever wins will certainly earn it.

It actually had a theme. It was billed to something like Cincinnati vs the USA
Yeah it was billed to that. It had two helmets one said USA and one said Cincy even though we weren't a Cincy team.lol It was the Buddy LaRosa highschool football classic 2.

Is Avon as good as last years Avon team? Are they suppose to be great again?
Avon should be very good. A lot will depend on how the 2027s develop. This 2025 class had the most college recruits I can remember Avon having in one class but I don't think many would have anticipated that their sophomore year. They just worked hard and blossomed between that soph and junior year. This years team will have 2026 D1 recruits at CB, LB, DE and LT. Possibly 2 others at WR and RT. Elder keeps reloading and developing players. A lot of young but talented linemen that if they develop and Avon stays healthy they should make a deep run.

Was talking with K Mateo Herrera’s mom yesterday… she mentioned he was flying up in height and hitting the weight room a lot. He was 5’4 his freshman season and 5’5 last season… latest measurement has him at 5’11!!
He’s been very consistent— 6/8 on FG and 55/58 XP in his sophomore year.

No sense in arguing with ignorance, he doesn’t believe anyone can be close to the program. 🤦🏻‍♂️
But we sure know for a fact he isn’t.
I mean I wouldn't call him ignorant that's my guy I'm honestly what's funny is I tell him everything that's happening before it happens because of how close I am to the program 😭😂😂😂😂

This is good to hear. We need to have the ability to kick medium range field goals this season. I am talking from 35 yards or longer.
