Breaking news… word on the street is that Estep is transferring to Taft where he will have something besides slot receivers to throw too.

Guilty as charged.Breaking news VOR is still a sarcastic butt hole, who contributes all to the actual conversation.
The kid quit the team when he was a WR.
The offense isn't going to struggle. The OL is going to be very good and will open up the run game. They have a QB who could honestly be the 2nd or 3rd best QB in the city. I've heard he's taken a significant step up. He will have plenty of kids to spread the ball around to on offense at the WR position. They will be very balanced, which is hard to defend.I always see people on here saying, “Elder can only play the hand they’re dealt”, well this is a card they have to play. Not using him at WR is malpractice. Period. Otherwise, your Offense is going to struggle again.
My point is, if he wanted to still play WR, he would be. He just wants to kick. Move on to the next kid.I always see people on here saying, “Elder can only play the hand they’re dealt”, well this is a card they have to play. Not using him at WR is malpractice. Period. I would be.Would not be surprised if Massa comes back JR or SR year.

I think a lot of this has to do with kids needing to specialize in baseball or basketball in the summers if that is what they choose to focus on in college. Those couple of summers are important in those sports if they want to get on the college radar. Then they come back to football for their senior year. It happens across the city, not just to Elder kids.I understand the demands of playing multiple sports wear on kids bc it is such a big time commitment. But now, it’s almost seeming strategical in the way it’s happening, like they’re taking a Red Shirt season.
That makes a lot of sense. I can’t fault any athlete doing what they think is best for their future.I think a lot of this has to do with kids needing to specialize in baseball or basketball in the summers if that is what they choose to focus on in college. They have three scheduled in July. I don't know the exact dates. I heard OH and West for sure on two of them.Is Elder playing in any 7 on 7s soon?

One of the Oak Hills assistants tried to fight Elder's coaching staff. What a maroon! There was some kind of issue at the end of the game 10 years ago.
That has to be a long time ago, even before the Crosstown Showdown came into existence.A bit of the season can't start soon enough trivia: Can anyone tell me the last time Elder had a 9 or 10 game regular season with all games scheduled for Friday nights?
Correct. That has to be a long time ago, even before the Crosstown Showdown came into existence.
