2025 Cincinnati Bengals

If I remember correctly, the Bengals continue to hose the taxpayers of Cincinnati and Hamilton County, aided by the elected officials. Wasn't the current deal the worst in the NFL? In the end, the citizens will probably get hosed again.

From 2015:

Why does a browns/steelers fan care about Paycor stadium?

I happen to follow the Bengals also ( being from Ohio) and was living in the area when the whole stadium financing was revealed years ago.
Follow oh ok. I have been to Paycor/Paul Brown stadium 10 plus times nothing wrong with it. I could care less about the aesthetics of a stadium just the product on the field (Bengals lacking in that area). As far as Bengals fleecing the taxpayer well so did the Reds and so do most pro teams. Either a city/county gives in to the rich owners demands or it is sayonara just ask browns fans. Cause there are lot of cities/counties in this country that would love to have a pro team esp. NFL.

damn, eric all out for next season. complications in the knee repair. figures the bengals find a quality late round pick and this happens. i suppose resigning giesiki is moving up the priority list.

I recently went to a religious retreat, so I am going to try to be nice about this, what you call "complaining" others like myself would say it is pointing out Bengals deficiencies which they do have. If you don't like that too bad, you may have started this thread, but you are not the moderator. It is ok for posters to express their opinions whether you agree with them or not.

Browns are stupid but not stupid enough to trade him to an AFC North opponent at least I don't think so.
Well, they did make the worst trade (Watson) in the history of the league.

Not sure what it would take, but I'd imagine Higgins would be attractive to them. Sign Higgins, ship him, Ossai and a 3rd for Garrett.

whatever makes you sleep at night. you have a guilty conscious or something? i never called anyone out, i just made a general statement lol. maybe you get tired of the complaining as well. they do have deficiencies, but they don't have to be rehashed every time some people post. good thing you went on that retreat though b/c otherwise i would be so scared of what you say on a message board lol.

there is ZERO chance Garrett ends up in the AFC North. won't happen.

Listened to WLW on my way home today. That talk show host has the Bengals tightening the purse strings now that things are not playing out so well, and he figures they lose Higgins, Hendrickson and their top receiver.

So Chase and Higgins? That’s not going to happen obviously. Hendrickson is a tossup but he probably stays.

Yes, that was what the host was espousing. His rational was the Bengles would be unlikely to pay Chase the 35 million per year he likely will be due based on winning the triple crown for receiver stats.

That would go down in history as the worst GM/ownership f-up in history.

Hubbard retires.

Cincinnati Bengals defensive end Sam Hubbard took to social media on Wednesday afternoon and announced his retirement from the NFL.
"In my heart, I know that I gave this game, this team, and this city everything that I had. That is why today, with great pride, I am announcing that I am moving on from my playing career in the NFL and entering the next chapter of my life.
