You get credit for previous time spent as a teacher on the pay scale. It wouldn’t be a pay cut in any way. Reis may not take Mason because he lives in Loveland and his kids are in school there. I’m not sure about Kerr. Regardless, still think the hire is CJ Fleming.

Most districts will only give 10 years experience even if the teacher/coach has more experience than that. That would mean taking a pay cut unless the district is willing to bend their rules.

Retiring after only being a head coach for four years. Coaching Aiken to the greatest run in school history. Walking away is hard to believe. I would not be surprised to see him landing somewhere else before the summer starts.

He will be back somewhere …
Black told WCPO 9 Sports he is retiring from coaching the high school game at this point but said he is open to be around in other capacities to give back to Aiken and the community of Cincinnati.
 
Hearing that interviews at Mason are going on today. I would expect a quick decision since they have already picked their guy.

I agree . They are going to be down for a few years and in the small division of SBC that is hard to do. Plus their facilities are not good. I also agree he is a very good coach and wonder why he seems to have a hard time finding a head coaching job.
 
I have also mentioned on here that the Western Brown job was open. I don't know the process of it being posted so it can be listed on here. I do know it was posted at the school . I have heard that Jutze from Bethel and former Mariemont Coach Caldwell have applied. Either one would be good choice but they will have their work cut out for them.

I also have heard that a St X assistant applied for the job. I am not sure who though.
 
Have not heard much on several openings. Looks like Georgetown hired their coach though. Where are Western Brown and CNE's coaches going next?
 
Had no Idea this one was even open, but per their X page, Georgetown has hired Taylor Garrett to replace Cory Copas. Thanks @PikeCo23 for the assist!
