Update on the hoops search (from someone inside the building)

There were four finalists for the job: Quentin Rogers from Richmond, Winston Grays from Ignatius, Jordan Duke from Lutheran West and an assistant from Lutheran East (all I know is he was the "white guy"). I was told Prevost interviewed but is not a finalist, which is odd.

As Mr. Barker has already pointed out, money is the big hold up.

Not to worry though, with our AD in charge I am confident he will get this done. He has been working grueling 3 hour days as of late, I believe in him.

If it’s a money issue , has to be Rogers, with the resume to back it up. Probably getting a financial package together.

If it were Winston, I think we would have known by now.

I told y'all you would not be getting a high profile coach that wants to be paid. Your basketball program is pathetic. 😂
 
Winston Grays is the new Head Coach of the Benedictine Bengals basketball team. Welcome home, Coach! Go Bengals!

A little birdy told me that one of the candidates for the basketball job, who is also on the football staff, got outted for posting on here and it got him disqualified from the interview process.

🍿 🍿There was one poster that was on the football forum doing a lot of arguing and was allegedly on the coaching staff. Can't recall his name but was it him?

The current HC was on here talking a lot of smack to everyone. He was an assistant at the time when posting.
 
Coach Grays has added his first assistant, Kurklin Bohanon. Bohanon’s son is a JR on the St. Ignatius varsity team.
