Oh Canada
Wow. Remember lots of fine kicking in the dayIgnatius didn’t make a FG in the 2024 season.
Only attempted 3. 0-3.
And we went 11-13 on XPs the last two weeks.Remember when we used to laugh at Glenville in the late 2000s for having zero kicking game? That’s us now fellas…. WOW
Glad to see that has been corrected. Good luck the rest of the way.And we went 11-13 on XPs the last two weeks.
Same to you. Week 11 is an entirely new season as you well know.Glad to see that has been corrected. Good luck the rest of the way.
Yeah Ignatius losing to a D4 Canada school is crazy AF wowJust wow. Losing to a Canadian team.
Even in the 90s during the dynasty years and beyond, Ed’s was still able to grab a couple of wins and play some hard fought games that they may have lost, but they could still be proud of. Sure there were a few blow outs they suffered too, but Ed’s was never even as close to as bad in the 1990s as this Ignatius program has been in the 2020s.Ignatius program needs a major overhaul. There’s just no other way to put it.
In all my years I never would’ve bet on something like this happening. I genuinely feel bad.
sometimes allegiances are stronger than ramifications for failure...I do not see how Franzinger hangs in here at HC much longer at this rate. It’s malpractice by the school to continue to allow it.
Has the program ever tallied double digit losses in a season before?
It is weird af seeing them down like this but I don't feel bad they damn sure ain't feel bad when they was beating the crap out of everybody lolIgnatius program needs a major overhaul. There’s just no other way to put it.

Funny you have been posting a lot while Massillon has been on the up and up. Hope to see you around when things shift and you are on every teams’ thread wanting to talk about football. It is weird af seeing them down like this but I don't feel bad they damn sure ain't feel bad when they was beating the crap out of everybody lol
That mentor team wasn't as good and that Ignatius team was on an upward trajectory, relatively, heading into playoffs. Big differenceMentor's reward for a 5th place in points last year was a visit with Ignatius in Week 11 a year ago, which they lost. I am sure Mentor has no delusion of automatic win
LMAOOOOOOOOOOOO He won’t be posting too much after they lose week 1 to open up next season.Funny you have been posting a lot while Massillon has been on the up and up. Hope to see you around when things shift and you are on every teams’ thread wanting to talk about football.
Sorry, but after your kid graduates, I feel the same for you. I see a lot of new posters come in when they have kids, make strong statements and then disappear. Just my thoughts from being on this site since 2001.LMAOOOOOOOOOOOO He won’t be posting too much after they lose week 1 to open up next season.
No need to be sorry. And congrats on being on this site since 2001, I’ll be on for at least one season after my son graduates, a lot of the freshman are like my sons. IMO you being on this site since 2001 doesn’t make your fandom or opinions anymore valid. But again congrats on being a 23+ year member, what a great accomplishment. Looking forward to watching the Hoban- St. Edward game this afternoon.Sorry, but after your kid graduates, I feel the same for you. I did have to laugh at your response! You’re right, no validation. I just see a lot of posters that pile it on when teams are up and down. Have always respected what Coach Ginn does and appreciate the OSU pipeline. Hope you have a great post season and even better things next year. I know you have fired a lot of shots for next years Glenville team and hope the haters don’t call you out too much.No need to be sorry. Thanks, appreciate the well wishes and I send them right back at you! And no shots fired or wins guaranteed from me (not that it would mean anything) but a lot of people around the program feels next year’s team has potential to be special. If I were Coach Ginn I would opt up to D1 but I’m not so I can’t, lol. And we love St. Edward as a family, my son shadowed and tested and I would have been very happy if he would chose St. Edward. Go win another D1 championship!I did have to laugh at your response! You’re right, no validation. I just see a lot of posters that pile it on when teams are up and down. Even with the injuries and youth of this Ignatius team, they still have talent that puts them among the top 5 teams in R1. I know they haven't played like a top 5 team for most of the year, but they're better now than they were in weeks #4 and #5 against Hoban and Walsh. The Ignatius failfull see the glass as 1/10th full and it is, but that could change. The sophomore QB has developed enough to give them a plausible passing game. They still have Washington at RB and Haddad is back at WR. Even though they don't seem to know how to use them. They have the best young corner in Ohio (IMO) in Tristen Hughes. Their position players, while young, are not overmatched compared to the rosters in the rest of R1. If they could just get rid of the headset brigade on the sidelines, and get back to basic CYO style football, they could be a headache for any other team in the region. Both X and Football North were quality teams that are on par with the top 5 in this region. Ignatius should have beaten both if they didn't make so many head scratching mistakes.Talent acquisition machine needs repair!
