Venture to say i have been to more stiller games than most everyone on here, probably combined so yea.....call me a troll all you want boomer.

You probably have me beat then! We had season tix for about a decade at Heinz and many a game at 3 rivers and away games as well. Only get to 1-2 a year now as my brother's company has sseason tix all on the fiddy and they are glorious! The box seats on the 50 have me spoiled..man that view!

Last year, or maybe was it 2, we painted up some old army helment for Franco's Army......but the SOBs wouldnt let us wear them in saying they could be used as weapons, bastards.


We know the NFL season is a marathon, starting 3-1 is better than three other options. I just do not see this offense good enough to get in the top 2. The browns are the browns so we expect them to continue to look like a botched abortion....


I hope it works for Fields. Getting him an RW for basically peanuts was G E N I U S for the organization and maybe Fields just needed a new pasture to flourish.

We can hope, we can all hope.


SNF with Dallas.....place should be amped and traditinally have played great in prime time!

Losing 3 Olinemen in 4 games put an already suspect offense in a bad place. The running game hasn’t been very good when fairly healthy. Obtaining Devante Adams is the latest rumor. That might be a spark for the offense but what are the Steelers willing to give up? I think 9-8 is the ceiling for this squad.

Raiders are reportedly wanting a 2nd rd pick and perhaps a late rd pick for Adams. Adams is 31 and may want a new deal as most of his guaranteed $$$ is already paid out after this season in his current deal.

Adams is very good but I don’t know how much Pittsburgh would utilize his talent. Is Adams is worth say a 2025 3rd and and 2026 5th and them give him 2 year extension at 25 mil each year with $40 mil guaranteed?

I don’t know but if the Dteelers decide to make a move for Adams, I trust GM Kahn’s decision.

I didn’t realize Adam’s was 31. Thought he was younger. You’re right he’s going to be costly with his next contract.

8-9 would be a push, because I said 9-8 at worse.

But the funny thing about the NFL is that it is unpredictable. So let's see how it unfolds. But if I were forced to bet, I would pick the Steelers to beat LV, Washington and sweep Cleveland but maybe split with Cincy. So 10-7 seems attainable.

Steelers always win a couple more than expected, due to great defense and a great coach.

The Steelers play the Ravens tough. Pitt has won 11 of the past 15 (12 of those games were one score games). I think its fair to call for a split there.

All good points. Divisional games are rivalry games so they can swing either way, teams just know how to play one another and games typically come down to a play or two/1 score type games. I’d take 3-3 in Divisional games.

Hey, worse case I could see the Steelers finishing with 6 wins and best case I could see them finishing with 12. If Mahomes goes down the Chiefs finish well below 500. For the Steelers, it’s Watt - Just can’t replace his presence and impact on the game. Injuries are an equalizer but one thing Tomlin has proven over his career, he does extremely well with a backup QB.

It’s a week to week league, onto to the Cowboys on Sunday night. Can’t wait for Sunday night!
 
I'd guess if the Titans are out of it by the deadline, they'll try to get Hopkins.

We still haven't seen what Roman Wilson can do. Not that I expect much from a rookie but it would be nice to see him a little bit before making a move

Ok, so Baltimore obviously. But then who do you believe can force them from #2?

Cleveland has no offense, Cincinnati has no defense. Pittsburgh will probably split with the Browns and beat the Bengals twice.

Bengals.

Their offense is good enough to win and the division games are just starting. I see at best 3-3 in the division.

The Bengals definitely have the ability to finish 2nd in the division and still make the last wild card spot. If they do, they will most likely be one & done in the playoffs with that defense.

It’s simply, they have Burrow and Pittsburgh does not

and Pickens has some issues that they're working through. when Van and Austin play more snaps then him, that's a problem. he better figure it out or it will end up being another distraction we don't need.
 
Fields didn't actually 'suck', per se. But this was the first time this year where he was clearly outclassed when comparing him to the QB on the other team
Expect Russell Wilson to heal rather quickly kly this week. Expect Tomlin to wait until the last possible minute to name Russ the starter

Using fields like a HS running qb tells.me they are willing to use and abuse him as they know RW is close to.coming back.

That’s 100% true. No team would call QB sweep with their QB of the future. You do not see Baltimore, Buffalo, Washington or Chicago running that type of play with their franchise QB. Of course those guys are getting paid a whole lot more and their teams have far more invested in them than what the Steelers have with Fieids.

Again Fieids is a good kid and can make a lot of $$$ being a solid backup in the BFL over the next decade. He’s just not a top 24 type NFL QB.
