Agree 100%.Braylon Gamble was in the 2 deep as a freshman at safety. Can’t imagine he doesn’t start there next year.
If Gamble is our feature back next year I doubt he starts at S.Agree 100%.
What about Gamble and Gamble at safety?
Hack might be 215 by next fall and he would feast playing closer to the line of scrimmage. He reminds me of the Stover kid from Big Walnut that was a big safety and is going to Ohio State as a linebacker
We have three other good RBs so I would think Gamble doesn’t need to be the feature back (I think it will be by committee again). Trayon Williams is another option at safety as wellIf Gamble is our feature back next year I doubt he starts at S.

Braylon is Brian’s sonAny relation to Brian?
I think Gamble brings a little something extra at the RB position and with all the athletes we have we shouldn't need him in the D backfield. We have three other good RBs so I would think Gamble doesn’t need to be the feature back (I think it will be by committee again). I’m looking at it as wanting as many dudes on defense as possible. Gamble filled in early in the season at safety and it was seamless. He has speed to cover sideline to sideline and ball skills.I think Gamble brings a little something extra at the RB position and with all the athletes we have we shouldn't need him in the D backfield.

Classy post. Massillon fans thank you!Congrats to Coach Moore. A very well deserved reward that makes a legendary season even better. And while not trying to make it about St. Eds, he did beat us twice in a row during our own legendary run.
I've never heard Coach Moore complain about the public/private debate, I've never heard him badmouth an opponent, and he seems to get the most out of the kids that play for him. You guys are blessed to have him running your program. He has made Massillon an exemplary program and his success has driven both the private and public school communities crazy. That's how you know he's a great coach.
How many years have you been asking for that now?Bring the Lee owens playbook : scrap that other Bs . And add some underneath routes . Let’s get to that
Hoban d was very elite. Massillon players and coaches even said that. Said it was best defense they faced all year. 7 points and that score came after Hoban's punter dropped the snap picked it up and got the kick blocked along with a 4th and 10 face mask penalty giving a 1st and goal.Hoban d wasn’t elite : and we shut our own run game down : years ? I said it twice : I don’t recall anyone else. Must of missed that : What ? 1990-1991 ashcraft / Maguire 1800-1900 rushing in the same backfield and still passed the ball . What we need a running QB for. We got 3 capable rbs . Jalen can run 3-4x a game need be. He looked good running the ball( when he had too) . He need curl, dig and comeback routes added to the passing tree. If we honestly evaluate the offense : no knock but it’s the play calls . Even though we won the ship . The play calling almost costed us the game : the o cord shouldn’t feel good about : 115ish total yards : 17 pass : with all the dynamic playmakers and speed we have . Hoban wasn’t that great on defense imo : the D cord knew we’d run the same 8yr play book. Just shut down certain plays (bubble screen , jet sweep and deep 9 routes). After that : seem like we scrapped the book. Then to call a fake punt within our territory . A fireable offense : after black swarm played they @@@ off: why not punt it deep and black swarm d up : let’s grade the play calling A - F : that’s most important !
I understand what your saying but I have the same complai ts with Hoban's offense and coaching. They move the ball up an down the field w6h the same formations then inside the 20 he goes away from what is working and turns the ball over or has a negative play trying to get fancy. This happens quite often. When I bring this up everyone jumps on me how can you critize Tyrell he has won 6 state championships in 9 years and played in 8. Like that somehow absolves him of questioningA defense looks elite when they know your play calling after 9years : yea they had some nice athletes but I didn’t see elite . we all seen the block , penalty , td. I’m talking strictly play calling. Our kids wasn’t put in better positions to make plays. Had we blocked the d end : first play of game : we running : chunk yards: but nah he smack our rb then we scrap the play rest of game. Why not go against the aggressiveness of the d end if you not gone block him : that adjustment wasn’t made . Jus scrap it : Same play about 20 other yapsters complained about all season and got several rbs hurt off that play . Jus saying : not trying to bunch panties : since Hoban d is so elite : then we better get some new plays cause 115 total yards won’t cut it 2024 ship run . The last 4x vs Hoban : 2019:21:22:23 correct me if I’m wrong 82’: we haven’t put together a complete game offensively : either we can run but not pass : vice versa : 2023 we couldn’t run nor pass : what’s next ? The same exact same plays 2024 : since you mentioned punt block : what’s crazy is : if not for that : we LOSE 2-0 smh wow : Hoban wasn’t that elite to shutdown all our playmakers : play calling : we just as elite !
the 2 point safety shows we need to go under center at times . A simple qb sneak to get space but nah a qb draw lol smh out the gun . Cmon man be honest : we not saying fire the OC or OL coach : just go to offensive coaching clinic : like oregon: lville or Lee owens we have those caliber athletes . Ok : imagine we see the same ship matchup . What are we going to do different offensively ?

That’s kinda what I was thinking. Pringle and Fair were obviously two of the best linebackers ever to wear the orange and black. I think if anyone’s going to try to fill that void it’s Hack.Agree 100%.
