I completely agree, Burrow is definitely not Mahomes - no one in today’s game is. Mahomes also has a Top 15ish alltime head coach, a HOF TE in the twilight of his career and a top 3 center in today’s game. When Mahomes had wr Hill I would say their production is comparable to Burrow-Chase production.

Besides Chase, Burrow also has Higgins when healthy and not too much after that. Also, as a franchise the Bengals are far closer to to the Cleveland Browns than a KC, Baltimore, Pittsburgh, etc. That matters and is difficult to overcome.

The Bengals definitely have issues but Burrow is far from a major cause of the 4-7 record.

And what happened the last drive the Bengals had the football, Burrow was sacked on 3rd down (sacked 5 times in the game) can't throw the football laying on your back. It is why KC spends money on the o-line and not so much at receiver.

Edit: Though the chiefs this year have a serious issue at LT.

Just what reads in late games have you noticed Burrow incorrectly making? Please give us 2 or 3 examples with the down & distance, what type defense the opposition in, the offensive set/package and what Burrow did compared to what he should have done based on your expert opinion.

Bengals bad defense, steelers bad offense
Bengals give JB time to throw Bengals win, if joe does not have time to throw bengals lose. if I can figure that out why can't the Bengals FO.

I think the Steelers offense has proven to be not as bad as the Bengals defense this season.

Bengal LB Logan Wilson is out this week (knee). That could be a problem. Look for Steeler 3rd down rb Warren to have a big play or two coming out of the backfield. The Bengals must protect their rookie OT Mims by giving him help with a TE or HB lined up to his side or a RB chipping to help him out. Mims also had an ankle injury designation this week but will play on Sunday.

Yea it definitely looked as though the Steelers D jumped. However were the zebras on the take on the Bengals int return for a TD? It was pretty obvious the DB grab the helmet of the wr and pulled him to the ground.

The play before the illegal motion was 3rd & 1 with just over 2 minutes at the 38 yard line. Should the Bengals been throwing or maybe run the ball, get the 1st and run the clock to the 2 minute warring. Plenty of time & they had 2 timeouts left. Bad call by the officials on 4th down illegal motion but bad call by Bengals on 3rd down put them in that spot.

LOL pickens should have been kicked out of the game for his gun motion, like HC like player.
 
McKinnley Jackson flashes every game. They still need at least one mid level starter at DT in addition to some depth, but they’ve got some promising young iDLs in Jackson and Jenkins.
