2024 Cincinnati Bengals

This offense, for all the good it produces, never closes out a game. They always put it on the defense to try to close out a game. Last 3 drives: 1. INT; 2. 7-yard loss and give up; 3. Not a single first down and miss bomb FG.

They deserved the loss.

For once I agree with you

But 50 is the new 40!! Everybody’s kicking 50 to 55 yard field goals all the time now….

Until they don’t
Issue is you don't go into a shell Offensively like that. Dozens of easy high percentage pass plays outta playaction...ya just signed the guy to a bagilliom dollar contract and ya don't let him pass to get a easier FG?

..oh..
And how Taylor iced his own kicker with that TO..

So glad the browns and Bengals have full on special Ed guys as coaches.

Now I don't even care what the stillers do..it's a great day when the clowns and bungals.lose

I don’t understand how you don’t let the offense keep cooking like they did all game. As said before, the offense relies on the defense all the time (I.e. the superbowl run) to close out games. You are playing a team you can’t stop defensively and you “settle” for a long field goal. I don’t understand it. If Burrow was as smart as he looks it had a set of balls he would’ve blown off the run the ball idea and just winged it.

I agree the Bengals played it way too conservative in OT. One needs to get closer than a 53 yard FG.

Now, there is no guarantee that a 35 yarder wouldn’t have a bad snap, bobbled hold or just a miss FG. That’s why you kick it on 3rd down if you can.

Tough, tough loss. Burrow is your best player, got to let him go & win it for you in OT.

you can at least understand the logic if they were playing safe for a 35 yd FG. 53? No.

First F the steelers 2nd didn't ice the kicker but he did ice the holder. Snap and hold in the NFL should be automatic.

Chase was 1 on 1 the last 2 plays. I feel very confident if they went that direction, they would have converted. Taylor didn’t play to win. Ball-less and gutless. I’d have fired him before he walked off the field.
