IS that score correct? Don't think I have ever seen a freshmen game where both teams combined for over 100 points

56-50 is the Correct scoreThat’s the score that was sent to me last night hahaha Fr Willie PLEASE confirm.
Y"all got pummeled. Bengals romped past The ShoremenAvon Lake has two really good wide receivers and an offensive lineman named Max Riley who was offered by OSU as a freshman. The one WR (Stuey) goes both ways. I’m expecting Avon Lake to win this game. I don’t live too far from the highschool and love hearing the band warm up. My kids are going to the game and they are excited! Good luck tonight but I’m rooting for my hometown boys to move to 2-0.
I was trying to find something on St Francis NY and it looks like we are their first game. I know we beat them last season in NY. After that game , they went on an impressive run.the best part about being 2-0…..
Props to AL for stepping up and scheduling the Bengals!Y"all got pummeled. Bengals romped past The Shoremen

I totally agree with you—this team has shown incredible heart and determination! The coaching staff deserves a lot of credit, but I do think there's room for improvement in the play calling. With the talent on this team, they should be 4-0 right now. Can't wait for Friday's game against Shaker and especially looking forward to the big matchup against Walsh next week!Alls quite on the Bengal front I see. The non believers and haters have nothing to post so they say nothing. This team has an enormous amount of heart and fortitude. The coaching staff is doing a fantastic job and these young men play every down. Shaker coming up this Friday st 730 pm at JCU. I hope we have a hood crowd this group is fun to watch and root for.
Here we go again with "play calling", OMG!I totally agree with you—this team has shown incredible heart and determination! Play calling is a fundamental aspect of the game, so it’s worth discussing if you're paying attention. It’s easy to throw out a dismissive comment like 'OMG,' but anyone who understands football knows that the best teams still need great decision-making from the sidelines to succeed. Even with heart and talent, bad play calling can hold a team back. If you think that isn’t important, you might want to take a closer look at what separates good teams from great ones. Here we go again with "play calling", OMG!

That is so correct. You can be the best play caller but if the player don't execute the play it's uselessThat post went over your head, sorry!
After 51 years I learned execution of a play is more important than the calling of one, fyi!
I get what you're saying, but good play calling is what sets players up for success. Coaches need to read the situation and call plays that put the team in the best possible position to execute. For example, throwing into double coverage during a monsoon, especially when the running game has been effective, isn’t setting the players up for success. Execution is crucial, but it’s hard to execute when the play call itself puts you at a disadvantage. That is so correct. Does that give me absolution? That is so correct. You can be the best play caller but if the player don't execute the play it's useless
Don’t make Walsh angry, you won’t like them angry!!!!!I totally agree with you—this team has shown incredible heart and determination! Walsh getting angry? They better bring more than that—they’ll need their 'A' game to keep up with what the Bengals have been bringing every week.Don’t make Walsh angry, you won’t like them angry!!!!!
I think their C+ game will be enough after watching the Strongsville game, Bene had better bring their A++ game and hope Walsh is off a little.Walsh getting angry? They better bring more than that—they’ll need their 'A' game to keep up with what the Bengals have been bringing every week.
Look out, let’s not upset Walsh. HilariousDon’t make Walsh angry, you won’t like them angry!!!!!
Even if the play caller is perfect the QB has to avoid throwing into double coverage. As far as running the ball you have to realize the depth at running back and how many carries the starter has and when he needs a blow.I get what you're saying, but good play calling is what sets players up for success. Bengals MUST have Maloney for the Walsh game. You can get by teams like Strongsville , Shaker, and Brush without him , it’s going to very crucial the Bengals run the ball well against Walsh. Just to stay in the game.I think their C+ game will be enough after watching the Strongsville game, Bene had better bring their A++ game and hope Walsh is off a little.
Game wasn't canceled it was just turned into more of a reserve game featuring sophs also. Couldn't play JV as Varsity was also on Sat last week.Fr Willie, why was the freshman football game against Strongsville cancelled?
