There are a lot of things to like about Nate Moore. One of them the way he always represents Massillon with class and dignity. The orange blazer and the Massillon tie. Lead by example.
Is he the first Ohio HS football coach to win both public and private? There are a lot of things to like about Nate Moore. One of them the way he always represents Massillon with class and dignity. The orange blazer and the Massillon tie. Lead by example.
When does the lifetime contract get written up ?

As an outside observer, the Massillon powers-that-be should do everything they can to keep Nate Moore in town. He has turned Massillon into one of the best programs in Ohio and in the nation. Whatever he wants, give it to him.

That's just mind boggling considering how many great coaches/teams we've had in Ohio since '72. Thom McDaniels came pretty close. Who else? It’s true that they are the only 2 ever. Lombardo in 2001 at Lake Catholic was the other he had.
Congratulations to the Tigers!
That's what they said on WHBC.Is he the first Ohio HS football coach to win both public and private?

I’d have to think it would have to be a huge college offer.Quite a feat. And given Massillon's state and national recognition and the success he's had esp. at this moment, I am always afraid some bigger offer is going to come knocking. If any of you are superstitious I can delete that, Lol.
Best. Speech. Ever !
Credit to Shepas and McDaniels for getting us back together in the early 2000's too.The early 2000's... What a time to be alive!

Absolutely it is, thought the same thing when they said it JLP.Just watched the final tiger talk episode of the season, when you watch it....notice what the kids say when they are asked what "Massillon against the world" means to them. I believe their explanations are a direct result of Nate Moore opening their eyes to the truth.
Yes it was 11th thru 7th graders. 9am day after. Actually had weight room open as soon as busses got back to school and some 9th and 10th graders were in there before they went to the community party.Yeah I wouldn't mind that either. I hope we continue the series. I feel like the Ed's game this year really was one a couple games that helped prepare for Hoban. Do I want us to play 10 St Ed type teams? Nope, a ;little too much (well it would be 9 since we play McK) I'd like to drop a couple out of state games and play a Glenville, Mentor, Avon, Painesville Riverside, Hudson, Elder (my first choice because of the pit) or any up and coming D2-D3 teams from ohio.. easier said than done whith conference play.. I do like we play Warren, fitch and Mansfied because of the history and they usually are decent.. I guess Glen Oak too because of the Fed... I know most schools and parents may want a home and home, but I've know quite a players personallythat played a game at Massillon and they wanted to play at PBTG and still mention how cool it was...I wouldn't mind seeing one columbus team like one of the Hilliard schools, or dublin, Pickerington teams.....I know I'm really looking forward to seeing if they can get back there.. It is NEVER easy to win a championship... But we have a lot of pieces in place including a stable coaching staff.. Hopefully they take some time to enjoy and then get back after it.. I read in my local paper today Kirtland had 42 players in the weight room yesterday.. Not sure if those were all undclassman.. but still 42 for a D6 is pretty good...

And that's why you're where you are. Tiger has had that program on the right track for years, the kids buy in.. Same at Massillon the kids are pushing iron all year and we've had the same staff for quite awhile now.. makes a difference...Love that bar the stadium by the way.. :Just One More" Best wings I've ever had.Yes it was 11th thru 7th graders. 9am day after. Thom McDaniels, with McKinley ('97) and Warren Harding ('02)In fact, I believe very few coaches have even brought two different schools to the championship game...correct me if I'm wrong (Mo Douglass (Springfield and Trotwood). Anyone else?
Good call. Kinda funny I missed him.Did Currence take St. Ed to a finals? I know he took Massillon to two.

Only if they selected Barney or Clarabell the ClownDunno who in Mahoning/Trumbull might be looking for a coach, but if one of them (e.g. Warren) is interested in spicing things up, they could do a lot worse than calling Rick Shepas to gauge his interest.
You must be related to the Hennon family. LOL.Only if they selected Barney or Clarabell the Clown
