Here's a start to the pre-season rankings for this district.
As you can see, I've just copied Borofan's rankings and only included wrestlers that will attend this district.
I'm sure I've omitted someone, so just make a note and I will update this list when I can.

Just some observations of mine ...
* Barnesville's middle weights are STACKED!!! (Could the district team champs trophy be coming back to Shamrock Dr.?)
* 165, 175, & 285 seem to be light (no one ranked in top 12).
* 138 & 144 seem to be the toughest weights (5 ranked in top 12).

The d3 district tournament will be held at Harrison Hills Central High School in Cadiz.
My god that is two hours away from my sons school!!! Is this the central district??because I’m really hoping not? It seems that it is on the PA line and Ohio line does not seem to be central? Sorry just asking to make plans for then

It's the Easts turn to host this year and they're the ones who got it. It seems every so often Coshocton isn't able to host so someone else gets it. Buckeye Local had it a few years ago, 2019 I believe? They were legit in the boarder, heck our coaching staff talked about hitting the wheeling casino one night our hotel was that close.

Just imagine that there are some schools that this is actually 2.5+ hours. I love the back & forth between Coshocton and Heath for hosts. But these random one-off hostings by Cadiz? (2023?), Buckeye Local (2019), Philo (2013), and Steubenville (2009) are head scratchers. Three of those four are anything but Central Ohio (or at least central to the schools in this District for that matter); then again, I don't know how Ironton HS is/was in this District, they are decidedly not Central nor East (Heath is 2.5 hour drive, Coshocton is 3.5, Cadiz is 4, Buckeye Local would be 4+).

Surely, there must be a better option.

Damn that will be a long two day tournament

Kids from down that way travel nearly 2 hours every year when the district is held at Heath and Coshocton. I actually agree with it bouncing back and forth between East and Central locations like it used to. Harrison has a wonderful facility and we are lucky that they are willing to host.
