2022 Cleveland Browns Thread

What a bonehead decision not to call a timeout by the Buccaneers. Did they not realize who the QB was out there?

Typical frustrating Browns. Win a game against Brady when doesn't matter for you after being terrible in games that mattered

Looking back on the season to this point, while Brissett is no world beater, the dismal record is not on him. We knew what he was going in and he surpassed that as he was a top 10 QB by the numbers as was the offense as a whole. It's too easy to put blame on him while the reality is that the abysmal record of the team to this point is primarily at the feet of a bottom 5 defense and Stefanski's playcalling under pressure.

With watson be 9 2

He would scored enough points to win those 9 games.
You have an awful lot of faith in a pervert that hasn't played in 2 years. The same guy who didn't want to come to Cleveland and who quit on his last team.

I find it amazing that you can idolize that deviant while slandering Terry Francona and Darius Garland.

Very good win for the Browns today. Now the real season begins. The six game season to get Watson back into form so he can head into a normal offseason and the team can actually contend for the playoffs next year.

With an average defense that was good against the run, this team would be 7-4 or even better right now.

Yeah that was an absolute gift from the Bucs. Zero justification for not calling that timeout. Even Vilma realized that in the booth, and he is not a great analyst.

Anyone who speaks poorly about Brissett is clueless (brian). His numbers and performance were better than expected for a career backup. He was calm, consistent and made a number of big throws and runs. A lot of teams would be lucky to have him.

Offense came into the Tampa game ranked #4 overall in the NFL. With a semi-competent defense (and DC) the Browns are 7-4. Jets, Falcons and Chargers all in the win column.

As predicted the national media's complete focus has been on Tampa. No credit given to the Browns, except for one guy who praised Brissett . Of course, all the national focus will be on Watson this week, and the "debate" over whether or not he should have even been allowed to play again will be stoked. The circus will return.

Brady can't throw the deep ball anymore, it's like Big Ben at the end.

Teams are gonna squeeze him.

He'd do best to retire after this year.
