2022 Cincinnati Bengals

I don't get why the Bengals view themselves as the underdogs, Joe Mixon is guilty of it all week. Maybe it's just the Browns fan in me, and it's true that the media underrated them, but I'm hard pressed to view the Bengals as the underdog when they almost won the Super Bowl last year.

it’s a borderline miracle they’re only down 7 going into half. Offense needs to go up tempo to neutralize the pass rush.

Looked bad for most of the first half, and it's a one possession game. They're in great shape if they can get off the field to start the second half.

I expect that the Bengals will begin to use sidecars in the backfield to help with protection. They will probably use inside out protection so the back can help with the A/B Gap.

Out of sidecars they can keep the defense from finding the checkdown out of the backfield, either the RB or TE.

The OL’s performance last week was an anomaly
It was the snow. Also why Mixon looked all world last week. You can only make one move in the snow, especially on turf and that's straight ahead. Easy to pass block when you know the only move is a bull rush.

Missed opportunity there at the end of the half, needed 7 instead of 3. If the Bengals can keep this at a 3-7-point game come the 4th, we'll see what type of magic Burrow's got left.

Zach Taylor on 4th and 6.
