Date: December 4th, 2021
Time: 9:00am start (estimated finish 5pm)
Location: St. Francis DeSales HS, 4212 Karl Rd, Columbus, OH 43224
Format: 8 teams, 2 pools of 4 wrestlers each. Top 2 from each pool wrestle a 4 man bracket for placement - a total of 5 matches for each wrestler (3rd and 4th from each pool will wrestle their counterpart from the other pool for a 4th match).
To be brutally honest up front, we are looking for teams that will fill a lineup more than anything else. Teams that typically field partial lineups will be considered but with the state potentially cracking down on extras in events we will give preference to teams that typically fill 10+ weight classes. If you field 10+ and have some studs in your lineup...even better. With the direction the DeSales program is trending we feel like it is time to get the tournament back to the more competitive level it once was.
